Pros: Position to transport.
Cons: Breakfast was below standard of other comparable hotels.
Great position. Close to all transport. Stayed 4 nights and would do it again if in Hong Kong.

Two days at Crowne Plaza Causeway Bay
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: Very pleasant room/bathroom
Cons: Our check-in experience.
Location: Great access for the Racecourse and to tram along Hennessy Road for other areas of Hong Kong Island.
Well situated in Causeway Bay and particularly good for access to Racecourse. Apart from an overly business-like receptionist when we checked in, we could not fault the staff and facilities of the hotel. Our room had everything the leisure or business traveller could wish for and our couple of requests were quickly attended to (i.e. fresh milk for tea/coffee, a different pillow). The pool and cocktail bar on the 29th floor were superb. We would definitely recommend and return.

Great stay in Hong Kong

Pros: Central location and great service
Recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Causeway Bay for 8 nights on holiday in Hong Kong. Hotel was great very central to everything. Walking distance to major shopping area and restaurants. The hotel has 2 great bars on the upper floors 27 & 28 where you can enjoy drinks and snacks. The staff were all fantastic. The room was well appointed and spacious. The bathroom was great with a bath /shower and a separate huge shower. I would stay there again and recommend it.

Gem in Causeway Bay
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Great location, spotless upkeep and good service.
Cons: None I can think of strangely...
Location: Location is a couple blocks from Times Square Mall. Away from the mob, but close enough to the commercial area.
Hotel looks brand-new. Rooms are tastefully done with good-sized bathrooms. A large TV with a workable surround system was a nice surprise. Great bar on the top-floor next to the pool. There is a Starbucks nearby and it was always easy to get a cab. Expedia rate was good too. Definitely worth the asking price. Will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel in a great location

Excellent hotel and friendly staff! The hotel offers great amenities for business travelers. It is located just a block away from HK's famous Time Square and Causeway Bay shopping area. HK's subway system is very efficient and best way to get around the city. The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable as you would expect from a 4-5star hotel.

Newer hotel located in Happy Valley with very spacious rooms. I have been to HK on business many times and lately have been finding the other 3 and 4 star hotels in need of upgrading. I was pleasantly surprised with the Crowne Plaza, plesant staff, great bar and pool on the 28th flr,the only thing I could be negative about would be the slow elevators, other than this great value for your money.

ENJOYABLE AND CONVENIENT

Location was great, just 5minutes walk from Times square, which is where cause way bay MTR is located. However, if you have a lot of luggages, it is better to take a cab as the walk way from Times square to the hotel is kind of narrow and it is with lots of traffic. Room was of very good size and breakfast was good too. We were however a bit disappointed with the evening canapes that came complimentary with the CLUB Room. The limited snacks they provided looked like the left overs from the buffet spread. I actually saw the same item at the breakfast buffet spread the next morning. The Club room has exactly the same lay out with the special view room which we stayed previously . The hotel actually presented us a surprise by sending us a bottle of red wine as it was my birthday. However , the attendant could not speak proper mandarin and could not communicate to us that it was a complimentary gift from the hotel. It would probably be more helpful if they can attach a card to explain it all. As a whole, it was a pleasant stay and would definitely come back again.

Conveniently located and comfortable room
Posted Jan 22, 2013
Pros: Location and the bed.
Cons: No guest parking.
Location: Close to shopping and restaurants yet the hotel was not on a super busy street.
The hotel was within a short walking distance to the central shopping area in Causeway Bay. There were restaurants just across the street open for all day dining. We did not take the MTR this stay but the MTR station exit should be just about a 5-minute walk away. We had a superior room with king bed. The room was very spacious by hong kong standards. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely stay here again when we come back to Hong Kong.
