Pleasant stay

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: The location is good and easy accessible to public transportation. It is clean and quiet.
Cons: The "smart" breakfast should be improved to include more selections.
Location: Shopping, night market at the Temple Street, local street food
Our reservation came with "smart" breakfast. The portion was very generous but just hope that there would be more variety of selections. After having the similar food for 7 days, it was a bit too much.

Hotel location very convenient to most amenities.

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Cons: Would prefer a firmer hotel bed as it's a little disruptive when sleep partner moves a lot.
Hotel location is superb with easy access to MTR and most shopping streets. Convenient for travelers as there is a Airport Express bus station right in front of the hotel which provides shuttle service to Kowloon station for express train service to airport. A little walking distance needed though to Jordan MTR but still manageable.

recent Hong Kong visit

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: The elevators were really irritating. One bank of elevators went to the club and Ground floor and the other to the lobby only.
Location: everything
I think the Eaton is a perfectly fine Kowloon hotel for the price. The location is excellent. The food in the club was mediocre

FORGETTING THE BASICS!

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Price.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Convenient when routing into mainland.
Having often stayed here, I was disappointed as they simply are missing the basics. For the price, not a bad deal but nothing special. I am a member of their "club" but didn't get me anything. Elevator buttons didn't work, shower was broken, tea pot broken, and no mini bar. Time for a change.

Central hotel

Pros: Clean and modern
Cons: The breakfast that was included. In the price was poor and you were shunted off downstairs to their stree cafe, felt like second class guest.
Location: Shops and major tourist attractions close or easy to get to via pubic transport.
Hotel very good for position re tourist sights. Good for public transport and major shopping.

Kowloon....mid price

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Convenient, clean and service was good.
Cons: A bit cramped, mini bar had no beer in it!
Location: Busselling downtown, Jordan Rd, Kowloon. Lots of local shops, restaurants etc. Fast MTR ride into HK proper....less than USD$3 per trip
Reasonable hotel, close to MTR.....very much mid range. Smell of cooked fried rice pervaded room, but otherwise clean and tidy.

Location: nearest mtr is Jordan station.
Towels were not cleaned. So, we didn't dare to use it.
