Great place, a 4.5 is really what it is

Stayed here 4 days. I really thought the people were great and the breakfast tasty. Both the express and buffet are worth it. Rooms small but cozy. I would stay here again.

One night stay with late arrival - all good!

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Service, room, location - all great.
Location: Good location and easy access to HK center.
I arrived late (around 23.30) to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and signing in went smoothly. I was upgraded to a bigger room, which was a nice bonus. The room was clean and there was also one electric adapter so I could charge my phone. I had the express breakfast included, which was served down at the street level cafe. There the service was also friendly with a nice smile from the waitress. For me the express breakfast was all I needed in the morning - it could have been nicer to enjoy the breakfast at the hotel restaurant at the lobby level. All in all, nice and comfortable stay. I will likely come again.

Business Hotel

Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: As mentioned, the wifi and the staff who have been there for a while are very welcoming, especially Marilyn at the Club and Jimmy at the concierge.
Cons: Service in the café and bar could be improved.
The Hotel has slipped in service at the Café - staff have perfected the art of ignoring you when you require service. Have been staying at this hotel for some time now, and have noticed little things being removed, ie shower gel/shampoo are in big bottles in the shower and on the sink. Little things like sewing kits are only available if you ask. Breakfast is no longer served in the club room, you have to line up in the café downstairs for breakfast. Small things, but sometimes these small things make a difference when you are working. Love the fact that wifi is free and available all throughout the hotel - great for business people. We will still use this hotel as like the area - and as a regular some of the staff know us well.

Good location

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Based on the enthusiasm of our travel consultant I expected a more upmarket hotel. Breakfast buffet was ordinary and expensive. Menu appears to have not changed in a long time based on conversations I heard from other guests. Cleanliness of room was generally ok, however little things like dust or marks underneath glass tops of desk, marks left on the bathroom bench top let them down. It indicates no eye for detail that is the difference to a very good hotel. They make a point of asking you to help the environment by using your towels more than once, which I always do, yet replace everything in the bathroom daily anyway. On the plus side the location is pretty good. Being on Nathan Rd and very close to Jordan station you can get around to seeing any of the sights on your list. I would recommend this hotel only for its location.

Nice 3 star+ to a 4 star hotel

Posted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: Convenient, clean and the staff is very helpful.
Cons: Ground lobby at street level and elevator service.
Location: Transit and some shopping.
The staff is nice and very helpful, always wearing a smile. The room is comparatively small. The toiletry is rather basic, No hair conditioner. Hotel lobby is small and crowded. The ground lobby is on the street and do not have the hotel feel. The elevators are small and slow. 1 out of 4 elevator is always in service.
