“Great location & price but the room is tiny.”
Stayed 9 nights. Best location in Hong Kong. Bus stops, MTR station, food stores and markets are just steps away from the hotel. The hotel consists of several rooms and located on the 3rd floor of a big building. Clean and convenient if you don't mind the smallest hotel room ever seen. Everything was in good order. Shower is excellent! Wireless Internet was OK though we experienced a breakdown twice. But it was fixed soon. A cooler with hot & cold drinking water is available 24 hours. Adapters are also available at the front desk but we didn't use because we have our own adapter. They take a key deposit - 100 HK $ and return at check-out. 1 towel per person per 2 days. But they never change it until you come and ask. The bedding was never changed as well. Nobody cleaned the room. We removed trash by ourselves. Trash bins are near the elevator on the 3rd floor. Completely satisfied. Exactly what I need. Recommend to all travelers.
“Very good location, tiny room”
It is next to the subway station and the airport bus stop. It is on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and seems like the security is pretty good. The room is very tiny but clean. Hot water was hot and air conditioning worked. The price is right considering the location but don't expect any amenities.
“Good location, right price. What you pay is what you get.”
HongKong is a very small city with way too many people, therefore hotel is expensive obviously. This hostel is very clean, has what your basic need. There is 24 hrs security guard with friendly greeting at elevator entrance. Walking distance from/to Airport Bus stop(second stop from airport). 5 min walking distance to "Temple Street" where local food, and night shopping are. It is much better then other hostel I had been to.
“Price is Right”
Location is good with lots of transportaion. Address kinda hard to find. But chinese employees try their very best to speak english and accomodate all my questions.
“"The Florida Room"”
The "embassy hotel" is actually a guesthouse. It has great location on nathan road in the heart of kowloon. The rooms are pretty basic with interesting themes. The florida room has strange pictures of disney characters and other cartoon characters such as sponge bob square pants (not sure what he has to do woth florida). The old woman there is very helpful but does not understand any english which is fine. If i was looking for a bed in hong kong for a few days at a budget price i think the embassy hotel would be the right choice Aslo a cheap bakery outside for a breakfast on the go
“The tiny hotel at JORDAN in Hong Kong”
The hotel room is very very small. The location is perfect. It is situated on top of MTR Jordan station and in front of Nathan Road. Man's night market is 5minite away. There are many local restaurants around the hotel.
“Decent place for a night or two”
very tiny rooms, but clean and in a good location. staff are very friendly.
“Very Small Room, Near Jordan MTR, Most Staff- do not speak english”
This hotel was fine if you have the right expectations. The rooms are small. I stayed in a Single room- the France room. The bed fills up most of the room. The bathroom is also small, but has a shower, sink, and toilet. There is a TV in the room that plays local channels with some English programming. There is a full length mirror down the hall. I spent 5 nights here, most nights there was a sweet old lady who was extremely friendly but didn't speak a lick of English. I had fun miming with her and trying to communicate. You should have seen how I mimed needing toilet paper! haha. One other night over the weekend there was a young man who worked here who did speak English very well and was very helpful writing my destination in Chinese for the Taxi driver. A couple of the nights there was an old man, who was fine but didn't speak English also and wasn't as sweet as the old woman. Overall I think they have everything you need here, bare minimum, no frills, and its dead cheap, so if you want a bargain and easy access to all of HK then staying here is just fine. ps. I brought my own towel, not sure if they had towels there, but they weren't already in the room and I didn't ask.
“Only for the desperately short of cash”
Firstly, let's start with the good points. Remember that this hotel is extremely cheap by HK standards. It's location in Kowloon is extremely convenient - within walking distance of the Ladies Market and Temple Night Markets. And a longer, but manageable walk down to the Star Ferry and Tsim Tsa Tsui. It is right by Jordan MTR Station, and the A21 Airport Bus drops you off within a block of the hotel on Nathan Road. The room also has an ensuite bathroom, TV and air con. The bad part - the rooms are about 40 square feet in size; the bathroom (at least it's an ensuite) is minuscule. There is a very small window, but it cannot be opened, so in effect, it is a windowless room. There was supposed to be free wireless internet, but it was not working when I was there. They are obviously successful, as they have expanded to another building, so I had to check-in in the original building, and stayed in another building across the street. It was a hassle to lug my luggage back and forth to complete the check-in and check-out process. They require a HK$100 deposit for the key as well. At the end of the day, it beats a hostel dorm, and is acceptable if you are really on a tight budget.
“unbeliveble”
I spend 2 nights in HK, it is my first time to choose the cheap hotel like this, room is really tiny and dirty, bedding is also dirty, the mattress is still with plastic bag covered, you will not enjoy your stay with the condition of the room. Location of the hotel is very good, you can even walk up to shopping malls, and the MTR is next to your hotel.
