The 21-story Harbour Grand Kowloon high-rise hotel is located downtown on the waterfront. Guests have access to a rooftop swimming pool and spa tub surrounded by gardens. “Very Good!!”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The views are beautiful and the staff was incredibly helpful. The club level ammenities are very good. The services at the club level are hard to beat. We are in HK several times a year and will definately go back.

“Beautiful ocean view from the room”

This is beautiful hotel with good service and ocean view. (make sure you choose ocean side room). The hotel have good restuarant and bar. The only thing I don't is the location. If you to go out shopping you either take taxi or hotel bus, they don' t have near by MTR station.

“This is Good.”

This hotel room is big and clean. But, There are non-smoking room. So, I moved smoking room, but That was not good. small & smell & old Look's like almost same, but totally different both room. If you choice this hotel, must ask big room. This hotel has very gooooood view pool, but open until 10pm. But you must go that pool. You can see hong kong is it.

“Fabulous view”

We stayed two nights at Harbour Grand Kowloon - the rooms were great with fabulous views of the harbour, huge bath and very comfortabale beds. Probably taking the Harbour Club option would have been good as it included breakfast etc. Staff were very helpful, offered a 2pm checkout and use after that of showers in fitness centre and use of pool etc as we had a late flight home. Shuttle to shopping area v handy, and view from pool amazing. all in all v good value for HK.

“Great hotel and value for money”

i stayed there 2 nights. it was nice and spacious and great view (if is harbour view). the only unsatisfy things are the location and night entertainment. Location : is inside of residential area, so is a little bit difficult to walk out to city. You need taxi unless you wait for the shuttle service to tsim sha tsiu. Entertainment : Is a bit disappointed when you cant find a good place to have a beer or 2 with some liveband in the hotel. (I might be wrong becasue i did not ask anyone in the hotel, but i tried to search around) except there is a place next to the hotel which is called Waterfront .... (something). But overall experiance compare to others hotel, i think is still the best experiance.

The best is get into a taxi and ask the driver to bring you around which i get to explore more places.

“Great option in Hong Kong!”

Free shuttle service to and from Airport. Help with luggage at every point. Quick check-in and free upgrade to a non-smoking suite. Fantastic view of the harbor and Central from our room, despite morning fog and overcast skies. Helpful concierge. Starbucks nearby for my wife. I had planned for us to walk from the hotel to the star ferry in Kowloon harbor, but construction limited the boardwalk access so we had to take a taxi ($5) each way. Should be completed sometime in 2011. The Hung Hom area where this hotel is located is decent, though not as upscale as other parts of the city. Of course, this is also why the hotel is a little cheaper in price. Lots of shopping available in the underground malls. Air conditioning everywhere inside, which was nice, given the humidity. We would return!

Area recommendations

Cheung Chau Island is really enjoyable for a day trip. Take the ferry to Cheung Chau from the Kowloon harbor. The fast ferry ($6) makes it in about 15 minutes, the slow one ($3) takes 40 min. No vehicles allowed on island. Everyone walks or rides bikes! Lots of great hikes to take across the island, and a decent beach on the far side. There is a McDonalds and a 7-11, otherwise all other food is local.

“Great comfort for less”

The hotel was very beautiful, clean and well-maintained. I actually preferred it to the rustle bustle of the city. The shuttle buses were convenient and its location next to the star ferry was good as well. Try the chinese restaurant on 2F, my husband and I had such a great meal.

“A very nice Hotel a little far from main Kowloon area”

Two very good things the Hotel has are the view and the Hotel itself (arquitecture and looking). I can not give an opinion of the food or drinks because I didn't try them. It is properly located from the comuncation point of view as you have available Metro stations close (I didn't walk thru it) Unfortunately the hotest spot in Kowloon is a bit far and there is no way to get from/to walking.
