The bed has a mattress that is so hard it feels like you're lying on the floor. Pillows are no better. I have had sleepless nights because it has been so uncomfortable.

Hotel rooms need to be updated and due for renovation. The furnitures and the beds need to be replaced. The sofa beds are so old , dirty and ugly should be replaced. Should also change breakfast to buffet.

Positive experience of 4 nights stay in Holiday In
Although the hotel appears old, the cleanliness and the service from the staff compensate for it. I want to highlight the exceptional service of a staff member, Chiu Sin Ying, who was incredibly helpful and responsible. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 2-3 minute walk to Causeway Bay MTR, with numerous dining options and shopping malls nearby. I will definitely consider staying there again if I visit Hong Kong.

Pros: Staff was extremely helpful. Cons: You can't control the AC in your room and the hotel was ridiculously cold even though it was only 68 degrees outside. The food at breakfast is terrible.

Wonderfully located hotel at reasonable price
Perfect location. Shops, restaurants, taxis, MTR, Dingding tram all around. Free breakfast. Not the greatest but FREE. Room size not the best but acceptable. But best price and value. Location. Location. Location. Best price. 😀

HK trip
We arrived early, way early like 10:30 AM arrived HK from US. Customrt service allowed our luggages gathered in front of their counter among all other early arrivals as well, and the hotel put a plastic chain thru each luggage and a man watching it in the hallway. Then we checked in at 2 pm.

Staff was smoking on a non-smoking floor. Breakfast options limited. Carpets on corridors and rooms are not thoroughly hoovered. Self service laundry is a bit expensive. Hotel staff is helpful. Cleaning staff is courteous. Location is excellent.

HAPPY STAYED IN HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS
Special thank to the Front Desk staff, Jenny Lam who assist on our early check in for our rooms and also put us back to same rooms after we returned from Guangzhou. Overall we are very happy to stay in this hotel as very convenient and the chinese restaurant located at 2nd fl, the food is very nice. Thank you all the staffs whose are helpful and friendly.

The property is conveniently located near Times Square Shopping Mall. The front desk was very accommodating when we arrived early. They put our luggage in storage. They also helped us arrange a jumbo taxi to pick us up to the airport when we checked out.

I would stay again
After seeing some of the reviews I was worried but below are plus points. - house keeping came every day and towels were soft and fluffy. - bed comfortable with 4 pillows for a double bed. - great location - quiet air conditioning - helpful staff - small fridge in the room and quiet air conditioning.
