“iconic!”

stayed for a week with wife and 2 sons ( 12 & 14), had a great stay. Breakfast buffet was excellent, kids enjoyed the 9th floor pool even when it was raining, and Tommy provided excellent poolside service... Will be staying again for Chinese New Year!!!

Outstanding hotel that is very accomodating. I have stayed in many of the 4.5 and 5.0 star hotels in HK and this is a jewel. Excellent Harbor View Rooms are very modern with totally unique shower and a TV in the bathtub !!! Never stayed at a hotel where the non-alcholocic drinks were free in the mini bar. Bed was super comfortable and 42 inch flat screen TV with picture in picture was a bonus. Pool was heated with excellent sightlines of Hong Kong Island. Each day a $100 HK$ ( $12. USD ) credit is given for laundry. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Food was well prepared in the Hotels main restaurant and Chinese restaurant on 28th floor has good food with beautiful views at night of the HK skyline This is my new favorite hotel in Hong Kong

“Great new hotel in Kowloon”

I travel 5-6 times a year to Hong Kong for business, have stayed at many different hotels. The Icon is my favorite. It's a new hotel owned by the local university. The Icon covers all the basics- good-sized rooms, very nice shower, TV has excellent range of channels. I like to exercise, and their gym is one of the nicest in Hong Kong. High quality cardio equipment. I've stayed in both the executive floors and the regular rooms, and once had a suite. The suite was heaven, fantastic views of harbor, great bath with windows on two sides, spacious, just great. Service is what sets the hotel apart. Employees are uniformly attentive and nice. On my most recent trip, my billfold with my passport, credit cards and cash was stolen when I crossed to Hong Kong from Shenzhen. I needed assistance getting a new passport, as my flight was in two days. The assistant manager immediately gave me contact info for the credit cards and US consulate, helped with the police report, and printed out the docs I had to take to the consulate for my new passport. She was outstanding. The only negative about the hotel is that it is not as centrally located as it could be. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the MTR. On the other hand, you can easily walk maybe 150 meters to the train station to go to Lo Wu (Shenzhen). And it's near many other hotels, so there are lots of restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance. Overall, I recommend the Icon, it's my favorite in HK.

What a start. Room upgrade to one with a king size bed and very comfortable with a shower that was quite amazing. Staff at reception professional, friendly and with good english language skills. Hanging wall garden amazing and bistro very reasonable. As someone who loves to walk, the hotel is in a perfect position in Kowloon to bars, bistros, shopping, rail network and Nathan Road but also they have a regular shuttle bus to shopping complexes and the ferry terminal to go across to Central. They organised an airport shuttle for $20 whereas the taxi fare coming in was $40. Will I go back to Hotel Icon? YES, YES, YES>

Hotel Icon is a nice hotel for vacation and buisness. It is a new hotel. It has a very good health club. The staff is very kind.

The hotel is very new, it just opened 3 months. My room faced to harbour, it is very nice at day or night. The bed is very comfortable. It is not closed to MRT, but it is OK for us. We can take the bus, as the bus station is just next to 2 building. We must go back to this hotel.

I stayed at Hotel ICON during their 'soft opening' and I have to say that I was extremely impressed at this hotel. Everything from the design of the hotel, to the size of the rooms, to the amenities, to the service was beyond my expectations, and I've stayed at numerous 4-5 star hotels around the world. The only small downside is the distance of this hotel from transit as it is a good 15 minute walk (without luggage) to the nearest MTR station which makes getting around harder.

The Icon was a totally enjoyable experience. The hotel is superbly designed, the rooms are luxurious and even the mini-bars is free. The staff was outstanding, and the location was good. Don't miss out on the heated swiming pool located outdoors on the 9th floor. You feel as though you are swimming in the Hong Kong Harbor.
