Close to waterfront, shoppingPosted Nov 23, 2013
A bit strange as the entrance looks like an entrance to a club, with security only on ground floor. Lobby is on the 4th floor. Small, European style rooms, but excellent condition and first class bath, internet services and bedroom amenities

Excellent service with friendly staff. Convenient.Posted Nov 22, 2013
Friendly staff and all are English speaking. Very modern look and super clean. Didn't have to call room service for anything. Room is very cosy and feels big with a large window (anyone who's been to HK knows what I mean). Very convenient location. Less than 10 minutes walk from Sheung Wan metro station and the Macau ferry station. Great price for HK Island. Breakfast was great.

Great compact hotel, excellent staffPosted Nov 20, 2013
Hotel is compact, clean and staff are extremely lovely, informative and responsive. Location is supreme. If there are any negatives it would be the compactness of the room however ample room for a single or a couple that travels lightly. Thanks for an enjoyable stay, would recommend thoroughly.

Great experiencePosted Nov 4, 2013
Located on Queen's Road East, it only takes about 30mins to walk into Central so location was perfect for us. Hotel seemed a bit shabby from the outside but definitely made up for it inside. Excellent service from the staff and the rooms are great albeit a little small. Breakfast is definitely the highlight of the hotel, although continental was very very good. Staff were friendly and all spoke good English. Only 10min walk to subway station so you still feel connected to the City.

Ended up okay after a bad start.Posted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: Free breakfast in the morning made it convenient to start the day off right. It wasn't anything really fancy, but had the essentials.
Cons: It would've been nice to receive the room that I booked 7 months in advance without any excuses or figure pointing.
Location: The hotel is located in a more residential neighborhood, if you rather have the hustle and bustle, stay in Central for drinks and Sai Wan for food.
Arrived at the hotel on the evening of Oct. 14th after a long 15 hour flight to find out they did not have a "2 single bed" bedroom for me, which was booked 7 months ago. However, the couple that arrived after me, who also had booked a "2 single bed" bedroom received their room. Something was wrong here and that started my vacation off on the wrong foot. The hotel clerk explained that my Expedia booking showed that I booked a room with one bed when my confirmation page states "2 single beds." Hrmmm.... go figure. However, to make up for that, they upgraded us to a suite. One issue though, the bedroom still had one bed. As a result, they offered me a roll away bed at no charge and offered me to switch rooms once another room was available. I felt the staff could've handled my situation better. They didn't own up to the mistake on their end and pointed their finger at Expedia.

HOTEL LBP HONG KONGPosted Oct 5, 2013
Pros: It generally supplied all my needs, and was much cheaper than most hotels in the area.
Cons: The rooms were on the small side but this could not change.
Location: It was a little far to walk to major shops but easy access the ferry , trams and buses. We took day trips to Aberdeen, Stanley ,and island bus rides
This hotel is excellent value for money. We found it a little hard to find however , once there it was convenient to walk to ferry terminals, the buses and trams and the Airport bus back to the airport was only about 2 blocks away. The bigger shops were bout a km away , ealily reached buy tram or bus at minimal cost. The room was quiet, with every facility one could want. The bed was comfortable, breakfast very nice, staff very accommodating and bottled water [unlimited] included. Fast WiFi was available in all rooms. Staff very courteous and helpful.

Great hotel with good value.Posted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: Staff. Comp. breakfast snacks and microwave.
Location: Urban setting with many inexpensive shops, eateries and super markets to chose from. Relatively far from Convention Centre. Cab from airport US$ 38.
Excellent breakfast though coffee not that great, tastes like instant. Coffee is not a common beverage in this region. Fitness room OK but only has one petite treadmill and one stationary bike & a weight machine. Construction happened to be underway so noisy during the day. Staff is excellent in all respects. No language barrier. Room very comfortable with microwave and convection oven along with minifridge. Two wide screen TV's. Long walk to subway or metro. two stops to another long walk to convention center. Many shops and inexpensive eateries in the neighborhood. Great value. Highly recommended. Survived the super typhoon without damage or electrical disruption.
