Harbor view, both night and day.Posted Feb 5, 2014
Pros: Location, bathroom in deluxe room.
Cons: Door boys could smile more and maybe greet clients by name. Price.
Location: Watch the 8 pm light show daily, cruise ship docks in 8 am, heated outdoor pool, near Star ferry terminal.
A deal is a deal. There was a 50% sale. Still not cheap, but for a 5 star it was great. Location is the big plus. Harbor water is 50 feet away. Larger room, upgraded to deluxe room and free roll away bed for child. Breakfast and in room dining was not cheap, but tasty. Heated outdoor pool and hot tub a plus, probably better in the Spring and Summer.

Fabulous view, excellent servicePosted Dec 15, 2013
We stayed in a habor view room on 12th floor and the view to HK island was really fantastic. Flawless service from check-in till check-out! Butler service was very helpful and responsiveness was second-to-none.

Best view of the harbour in town.Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: We've never experience such attentive care and concern from staff at a hotel before.
Cons: You couldn't improve the service, it was excellent.
Location: Next door to Sogo, the Art & Science Museums, Avenue of Stars, Star Ferry, Harbour Town, The Gateway, luxury brand shops, Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.
We pre-booked five nights in a harbour view room for ourselves and a standard room for our adult kids. On arrival James at the front desk upgraded both rooms to a Terrace Room - the view of the harbour and Hong Kong was breathtaking. In my twenties I'd stay at the Intercontinental (then the Regent Hotel) with my parents and it felt just as spacious, warm and comfortable as it did in the 1980s. My husband was unwell and we asked to see a doctor. The Concierge arranged an appointment with an excellent doctor who my husband was comfortable with because he was trained in Melbourne (where we live). This was my husband's first trip to Hong Kong and over the five nights that we were there, he only left the room three times for meals. The hotel staff sent him flowers and a card to say that they were at our service if he needed it. Our maid, Imelda was very sweet and made sure we had enough water, fruit and house keeping items every night. At least when the kids and I went out, my husband was comfortable and entertained in our Terrace Room with the best view of the Hong Kong harbour in town.

Good location but a bit too busy.Posted Nov 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location but it was a busy hotel with plenty of activity going on and meant the service was slow and not up to 5 star. We arrived at 230pm half an hour after check-in time and were told our room was not ready and come back in one hour, and did not offer any reason or consolation which I have never before encountered. The rooms were small but clean and functional. We sat down in the lounge for a meal and it cost almost $50 USD for a hot dog and diet coke, so beware while the buffet was about $200 USD. A better option is the great value home cooked meals at the restaurants across the road. We ordered some daiquiris at the lounge and they cost $20 and then were put in a whisky glass. If your paying that price they should have a proper cocktail glass. Otherwise great view and location in Tsim Sha Tsui.

A TV the size of a window (Wait up! That is the wiPosted Nov 13, 2013
With incredible views over the harbour, with its ferries and sampans and junks and liners an ever changing parade before the vast ediface of buildings that is central - by day a buzzing busy Mecca below the jungled mountain tops, and when the sun sets a dazzling show of light and a glittering jewel in the inky black night - the windows of this room were a TV of their own and that TV made this room truly spectacular. We did not close our curtains once during our stay (sorry passing ship passengers) and although we did watch the real tv that was in the room, it was only with one eye - the other was soaking up the view through the 'window TV'. You may think that the view is the be all and end all with this room, & well, you'd be right, it is! Without the view, the room is fine - certainly nothing bad about it, &, actually, it is a quite nice room, but, with that view, with that constant parade of life outside the window - it is (as above) truly spectacular.
