“Small but good”

The room was very small but was very well equiped. It had a TV/computer, fax, minibar, safe, coffee/tea and everything controlled from you bed :-)

“Great location and great value!”

Hotel was very convenient, especially for the Airport Express bus service. Hotel is located just 2 blocks from Victoria Bay and is right on the most popular street in Kowloon. Unfortunately we heard that the hotel will be torn down in 2008 and replaced with an office building.

“Kowloon Hotel”

The Kowloon Hotel is a nice and clean hotel according to international standards. Close to all shopping centers, Museums and many facilities in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island by Ferries. It is worth to stay in and enjoying its facilities. If I travel again to Hong Kong, the Kowloon Hotel is my first choice to stay in.

“Great location.”

The Kowloon Hotel is in an excellent location for the price. Rooms are a little small, but clean. Service was very good. Lots of things to see and do around the hotel. Convenient location to Star Ferry and MTR.

“Kowloon Hotel - would recommend to anyone”

Buffet Breakfast was incredible. We were in Club Room on 16th floor and entitled to the club amenities, such as a private small area for relaxing, snacking all times of day, TV, laptop computers and incredible view of harbor. They checked out for us and had coffee, danish and fruit waiting at 7:00 am for us on day of departure.

“Unbeatable location”

Great location for transport, shopping and food and that's why you're going to Hong Kong. Right next to TST MTR and 5 min walk to Star Ferry terminal for easy access to HK Is. About 7 min walk to China Ferries to Macao. Hotel currently finishing upgrade to rooms which has made a huge difference. Rooms still very small but it all works fine. You won't spend much time in your room anyway. Shuttle buses to and from Airport Express Kowloon Station every 12 mins and to KCR station at Hung Hom for train to China. Just ask at the front desk. About 3 million eateries within 5 min walk from expensive restaurants to cheap cafes. Good western breakfast at Coffee Concepts in Lock Rd. We ate in all types with no health problems. Within about 10 min walk there is all types of shopping from expensive (relatively) mall at Harbour City in Canton Rd to small shops where you can negotiate a bargain. Good, honest helpful staff and good prices for cameras at Suntek in Hankow Rd. I had a minor problem and they went out of their way to help and they then offered a full refund, which I declined because I wanted to keep the goods. Lots of Indian touts on the streets flogging "copy watches, handbags and good tailors". Just politely wave them away and say "No thanks". We've stayed at the Kowloon Hotel 3 times in last 2 years and would certainly stay again. With its great location, reasonable tariff and genuine 4 stars you can't beat it.
