Great location but a little hard to findPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: Proximity to places to see.
Cons: Internet in the room.
Only stayed one night. Off the main road but close to what you want do do in HK. Internet on the 5th floor is free. kept my luggage past checkout so I could see the city. Very helpful. I wouldnt say this is 5 star, but it was OK for me!

Nice hotel in the center of Hong KongPosted Feb 26, 2014
Great staff, great location, convenient, no amenities except for wifi and morning coffee but that was more than I needed. Cheap. Overall a good deal.

Convenient location for exploring exciting city.Posted Jan 19, 2014
Pros: Location. Free WiFi in the common area.
Location: Walk to Lan Kwai Fon area for the exciting night life. Walk through the small alley way to see the stalls.
Hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from central station. Very convenient to take subway, ferry to Kowloon or Macau. Room is not big, but clean and practical. Really loved the closet bathroom! Excellent breakfast buffet. At the time of booking through Expedia, we booked for for 5 people. The hotel had a booking of a Twin and a Double room, basically for 4 people. We had to pay extra for the additional bed in the twin room. Miss communication between the Expedia program and the hotel.

Pros: location; location; location and price was fair. the interior of my room was well arranged and very tasteful; albeit very cold.
Cons: heaters for room and 4th floor.
Location: Central HK and Lan Kwai Fong say it all.
on january 9 and 10, the temperatures were between 40s with wind chill, or 50 static to 60 static at warmest. 1. the room itself had no heat and was cold. 2. the free internet is on 4th floor. There is an improved open air space called Breezes, which was 50 to 60 degree at warmest without sun. this is where the complimentary coffee is located. Ironically, the hotel had gas space heater towers - but they were not turned on. In the morning a staff employee turned one heater on for me; but when management came through at 7 a.m. and asked if i had turned it on, i said no because it was staff who did. Management shut it off without explanation or reason while obviously observing that I was curled around the heater as the only source of warmth in the room and the hotel in general as my room was too cold to work in. 3. the waiting room adjacent to lobby is strange square room with no windows nor view of anything. it has 2 couches and chair. 4. the check in desk, lobby and waiting room were much like a hostel or pension - not a 4 star hotel.

Perfectly located to everythingPosted Jan 6, 2014
Cons: NO Christmas music in lobby after christmas please :) (Christmas music played through New Year's- it seemed to be on an endless loop)
Location: Lan Kwai Fong adjacent, super close to MTR lines and Ferry- close to escalators making getting around a breeze. Lots of great restaurants nearby.
Helpful staff, nice rooms, great location! Would recommend to anyone visiting Hong kong!

Love this hotel for location, but !!Posted Dec 31, 2013
Pros: Location location location.
Cons: Internet access clarity, more bottled water in rooms ie two bottles per person per day .
Location: Street shopping, street food, easy transport to other shopping areas, wine bars, close to party district and not to far from ferries to lamma island
Love this hotel and have stayed here a few times, love the location the staff and the free internet, although it's not obvious from when you log on, but make sure you ask at the front desk about the internet as this is a tad confusing . We had a suite on the 33 floor (3301) which we were looking forward to which we had paid a higher price for did have one factor that we did not like, this was the noise from either the lifts or more likely plant room above us. The noise was ok until evening when it appeared to get a tad noisy not deafening but enough to annoy you. The room which was nice did not have a balcony which was a tad of a let down as we have had a balcony in the past so its wise to ask for this in your booking. So in my view would make sure the 33rd floor was avoided and go to level 32 which we have stayed before and was great. The location of this hotel is simply great and easy access to shopping areas as well as local wine bars and some great restaurants. Also easy access to the ferries. If you want downtown shopping then a lovely tram ride along the wonder streets of Hong Kong Central .

Bad Air ConditionerPosted Dec 29, 2013
Pros: Quick Check-In
The conditioner in the room was terrible. It made big noise but had nothing to do with heating the room.

Just too smallPosted Dec 23, 2013
Pros: The service could not be faulted. All hotel staff were helpful, discrete and respectful. The lounge area with free wi-fi and coffee was pleasant.
Cons: Somehow the smaller spaces need to be made more comfortable. Even removing the dark faux-Mandarin decor might help.
Location: Easy walking distance to Central and the Macau ferry terminal.
I accept that a hotel room in the middle of a major city is going to be expensive. However, when you pay over a certain amount, you simply do expect something more than a shoebox. If all you want in a Hong Kong hotel is a place to sleep and shower, this is probably acceptable value; however, if you want your room to contribute to your holiday in some way, this is not the room for you. I noted from the evacuation plans that rooms are inconsistently shaped so it may be that I was unlucky enough to be allocated the tiniest space of all: I don't know. When I expressed disappointment that my far from cheap room was so small, I was offered an upgrade - at 50% increase! The bathroom was also tiny, with the shower over the bath.
