A great hotel in HK ever

Staying at Mandarin has a lot of advantage during HK trip. The location is really good in Central area, financial district. In particular, if you want to do shopping for luxury items, you can find shops easily near the hotel. e.g) Prince bldg., charter house, and IFC mall..even Pacific Place(it takes 5min. by taxi). Also, I love the staffs' kindness. They always treat me with a high regard. Last, I almost fall in love with their spa program. At the end of the day on my trip, I could release all my fatigue. If i have a chance for visiting HK again, i will choose the Mandarin (or Mandarin Landmark which is a brand new one) without any hesitation.

Kudos to the Marriott professional photographer who took the pictures for the website--he or she worked some magic. I think the picture of the fitness center showcases a painted ceiling and a few Techno machines. What is not showing is the rest of the Nautilus equipment (1985) and the ballroom carpeting. At least it is 24 hours. The pool is long enough for lap swimming but does not open until 6:30am. Friendly staff but service is spotty but this is not Hong Kong, it is KL so I guess this is as good as it gets.

The hotel was great, room and facilities excellent. The standout reason I will use the Oriental Group of Hotels again were the staff. Could not be friendlier or more attentive. Most went out of their way to personally attend to my needs.

Mandarin Oriental always provide amazing service. The front office staff was extremely helpful but I do have to give a big shout out to the guest service and housekeeping department for making me feel like M.O is my home away from home.

Pros: Location and comfort
Cons: It is INSULTING to European guests to be charged extra for wi-fi, which is now available free in almost every city centre hotel in Europe.
A very comfortable stay in an excellent business location.
