“Well-located, well-priced”

We enjoyed our stay very much! Wanchai is a vibrant neighborhood teeming with so many great places to eat - from the milk tea and eggtart joints to the delicious michelin-starred restaurant on Ship Street, Bo Innovation! Wanchai MTR station is a short walk down the road.

“good value & nice modern rooms in bustling, main thoroughfare...”

Nice clean recently renovated kinda-stylish, sleek, mod-hip rooms, on bustling and very busy streets. Not a quiet nor tranquil retreat (though later nights were not loud and sleep was fine), but this is an urban property in dense area so not unexpected... and definitely convenient-easy access to surrounding hoods (CWBay, Central, Wan-Chai/Conv Cntr). Quite good value for mid-low priced hotel and would stay there again if I had business in WC and CWB areas.

“Great place to stay near downtown HK”

Really nice hotel. Had a great stay here. Big comfortable bed, nice room, friendly staff, everything I wanted.

“Great location, friendly service... and inexpensive”

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The service was friendly and helpful. I needed help booking a table at the most popular restaurant in HK (Felix) and the gentleman at the front desk took it upon himself to call, set up the reservation and then print out a google map for me. That was nice. Additionally, they upgraded me to a suite when I arrived, without my asking them. To be fair and balanced, the one negative for the hotel is that it is small... but for me that's a minor issue because I don't need a huge room. This place is perfect for the budget traveler that's not looking to skimp on the experience. Oh and the location is fantastic.

“Metropark Hotel Wanchai”

I have no complaints; everything was as it should have been. Check-in was quick and easy (even though I was 2hrs early); my room was clean and fresh. The staff was very accommodating. The location is good; plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area and easy access to taxi’s and busses.

“Great, but with hard matress”

The hotel, location, equipment quality, etc. are all great! about 5-7 min walk to the nearest train station (MTR). The hotel has been recently renovated, most in-room furniture/equipment are quite new. Cable internet though - no WiFi. The only trouble, and this is kinda big one, is that the matresses (at least in our room) were very hard. I actually got back pain after the first couple of nights, but then got used to it, I guess... Have to fight for stuff though. We got our keys, went up and found out that they gave us a smoking room. We went down and said we reserved a non-smoking one. They gave us a free upgrade to a suite as no standard non-smoking was available. Then the internet: they were going to charge me first. Again I had to show the reservation which stated that internet was included in the rate. They just said Ok and didn't charge me for internet. Otherwise - great hotel and good location (strip bars and expat pubs just one block away).

“Clean stylish hotel, good location and friendly”

Hotel itself is clean and stylish. Situated close to Wan Chai station, the hotel is in a good location close to many restaurants and bars. Staff are friendly and helpful. I had a great time staying there. Price is also very reasonable.

“Pleasant short stay.”

Great hotel at a reasonable price change - right in the heart of the busy wanchai area (good and bad - good: awesome food places close by, close to mtr so transportation is great, bad: a bit noisy since its in the middle of the city - but not a big hassle). Overall great for a short stay.

“Great location and staff”

The hotel is in a great location - easy access to the MTR, the tram or the ferry to Kowloon. The room was larger then I expected for Hong Kong and suprisingly quiet. Hotel staff was great with recommendations and directions. I would recommend this hotel for couples or business travelers and would stay here again.

“Will stay again next trip!”

Good location. Internet service too slow.
