“great value for the price, excellent location”

This hotel staff is excellent...very helpful for neophyte travelers to Hong Kong. The congierge really tried to please us, with info, arrangements, etc. The only negative was the size of our room---very small, but not unusual for hotels in China. We were in China for a month..and this is the first hotel we stayed that internet was free...and even worked to and from the States.

Area recommendations

This is as good as any...easy subway access (one block away) that will take you anywhere..four stops from Hong Kong Island center. A twenty hongkong dollar ($2.50) trip by taxi to the ferry to Macau. Only two blocks from the night market.

“Nathan, nice place to stay”

Everything about the hotel was good, it was especially close to the Temple Street Market and Jade Market, and only a short distance from the Jordan Train Station. The hotel was more than adequate if you just want a nice clean comfortable room in the heart of Kowloon. One small complaint was that there are only 2 elevators and one was out of service for the 3 days that we were there, so there was usually a long wait whle trying to get up or down..

“Could stay here again”

Fairly clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was ok. Gym was old and lacking. Location was perfect.

“Fine location and friendly staff”

The hotel location was fine. The hotel room was clean but the bed and furniture were a little worn out. The reception staff were helpful and friendly.

“Nathan has arge cean rooms in excellent location.”

The Nathan is exactly as advertised and reviewed in Fodors and other guides. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathroom is quite adequate, they provide bottled water and other b asic amenities as needed. The service at the desk, mostly by by young people in thier 20s, is excellent. The breakfast buffet available to those renting Nathan rooms was also quite good, with a good variety of Western and Chinese foods. They made all features of our brief stay very easy and comfortable.
