“Extremely expensive for the quality and size of room”
For what I paid per night one would expect better value, and a bigger impeccably clean room. Hong Kong is notorious for being expensive, but this hotel is ridiculously over priced.
“GOOD LOCATION”
Good location in Natahn Road, close to shopping area, and Temple street for night market. The rooms are small as all in HK..... You hav eto pay for internet acces and the quality of connection is not good. Only have paid Wi Fi access in the lobby.
“Novotel in Wan Chai”
Great location, good service, newly refurbished rooms
“Good prices, good location, good hotel”
Very good value for money for a Wan Chai lcation in Hong Kong. Walking distance (covered!) to the HK Convention Centre, close to the Metro station, Buses to every where, easuly reachable from the airport. Walking ditance to the ferry to Kwaloon. Good restauranys in the neighbourhood. Recommend.
“OK but getting a little tired”
Good enough, Wan cai is Wanchai,, fun central, just ignore the sleazy middle aged chaps down the bars. Novotel is getting a little old but still good enough. Don't pay too much, enjoy the liveliness of Wanchai and the convenience to the MTR. Be aware that electronics markets etc n HK are not what they used to be. Just let the buyer beware kidn of thing. Service an Novotel is so so, but hey good enough
“One of the best options for a stay in Hong Kong”
It's a good hotel in every sense. The location in Wanchai is convenient since every place that you might need to go from your hotel is nearby. The MTR is nearby and as are some good restaurants.
“Good value hotel in Hong Kong”
Very nice hotel. I paid a bit more to upgrade to the executive floor and it was worth it with free internet and being able to have a drink in the evening.
“HKG Novotel - great location, good hotel, once you get the lights to work!”
I arrived around midnight. I had a problem on getting to my room when I had problems finding light switches and I couldn't get the hotel's adapter to work to charge my laptop. Also the phone was switched off and in the dark I couldn't find where to switch it on. So I had to go down to reception again, the front desk staff said they'd send someone. No-one came for about 15 minutes and it took 2 more requests by which time I was getting angry. Finally a helpful staff member came and sorted things out - it was my unfamiliarity with the fittings that was the problem but even so I shouldn't have had to wait that long. Most other things were OK - the exec floor benefits are well worth having. Having laundry done is ruinously expensive. Handy place to walk to the convention centre.
“Great Hotel in Wanchai”
My husband I were in Hong Kong for ART HK 10, which was held at the Convention Center. The Novotel Century's location in Wanchai was perfect. We could walk to the convention center easily (10 minutes) or take taxis, which were convenient to flag right outside the hotel. The staff at the hotel were also kind to help flag taxis for us. Being in Wanchai, the hotel is close to many restaurants (in all price ranges), convenience stores, etc. We will definitely be back for ART HK 11 and would choose the Novotel Century again. It's worth spending the money to stay in an Executive Room. Our room was comfortable and a good size for Hong Kong - perfect for the two of us.
