“Wonderful, convenient overnight stay”

We needed an overnight in Hong Kong before continuing the next day. This place was a delight. We were upgraded to their "premium floor" which gave us free internet. Not sure what other amenities went with it. The pool and garden were a gentle respite and chance to exercise. Transportation to/from hotel was a breeze. Western-style shopping malls close by that we weren't interested in. Several cute coffee/sandwich shops nearby. Very pleasant stopover. Am currently staying in a downtown Hong Kong hotel that is more expensive and not nearly as nice.

“Great Hotel for a short visit in HK”

The hotel is close to the airport and is connected to the Citygate Outlet. It is easy to get into downtown by taking metro train. The rate of the hotel is also reasonable, comparing to other similar quality hotels. Would highly recommend it to business people and/or family who choose to stay in HK for a brief visit. Lastly, the hotel offers free shuttle bus that leaves every 15 minutes to airport.

“Great Tung Chung location, quick airport shuttle”

Amazing hotel and amazing staff service. Couldn't be happier with my stay at Novotel Citygate! Two noticeable things that could have made my wonderful experience better (they still get 5 stars though): 1) It kind of looked like the bathroom counter had not been scrubbed clean, but I did not try to wipe the counter to see if it was something that could be wiped off (gross) or if it was just permenant stains (not as bad). 2) I used a mug and spoon and left them by sink in the bathroom, housekeeping (from what I could tell) just rinsed my mug and spoon and dried them with a bath towel (I could see obvious white towel residuals inside the mug and a mark on the spoon gave away that it was the same spoon, what I don't know won't hurt, but I would have been nice to think that my mug and spoon came back from a dishwasher, not my bathroom sink and dirty towels that I left on the floor. I don't really know, I'm just big on impressions. Breakfast buffet was great and had a nice selection. The mall, MTR and busses where all very close - basically attached to the hotel. Desk staff was very friendly and accommodating to my many touristy questions. I would stay there again!

“Novotel Great for Overnight”

Good for overnight stay when traveling through Hong Kong International Airport. It's about 5 minutes from the airport and a free shuttle is provided. The hotel is located at citygate shopping center so you can get in some shopping if you choose. Also right near the metro if you want to travel into Hong Kong Island or Kowloon -- but if your main interests lie in those areas, this hotel is a bit out of the way. The staff is very friendly and helpful and fluent in English.

“Refreshingly different”

Very impressed with the Novotel Citygate. Too bad we were only staying overnight between flights from Shanghai and from Hong Kong to New York. The restaurant we used was superb. The decor is unique and we had a great view out the window. Connects to brand new shopping centre and MTR station. Throughly recommend it and staff were great.
