Nice hotel away from the busy location.Posted Aug 22, 2014
The best thing is that it has a swimming pool so that there is always a good time to get on with the kids when we didn't want to go out.

UnhappyPosted Aug 18, 2014
Hotel stay try to sell upgrade room for $300.00 HKD Check in at 2.00pm room not ready. Have to carry our bags outside the hotel for holding baggage before we could check in. Room size is too small. Staff is very unfriendly. Never recommend any of my friend there. Very Disappointed.

Close to the centrePosted Jul 2, 2014
Very close to centre of Sha Tin only a 10 - 15min walk to train and bus station. Train station is in a shopping centre called New town plaza, you can also go through sha tin plaza to get there. Lots of choices to choose from for food however most are quite pricey. Would definitely recommend the moon river restaurant good food, service and good prices.

Hotel rooms are clean and with standard facilitiesPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Rooms are relatively spacious.
Cons: Could be more organised in arrangement of our rooms to be near each other of next to each other.
Location: Hotel is by a river and can have nice walks along. Restaurants and supermarket are near by. Large retail shopping centre 5 minutes bus ride away.
The negative points for our stay is that we booked two rooms for two separate periods of stay but for both stays they cannot organised for our two rooms to be near each other.

Nice hotel with conveniences...Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Convenience to public transports and space away from the congestion of city life in Hong Kong.
Cons: Not much to add other than it serves what we expected...a very easy and trouble free experience
Location: I can put this into a perspective If you are from Melbourne Australia...Sha Tin suburb is like Oakleigh...major shopping places us has New Town Plaza.
Not knowing Hong Kong at all, Regal Riverside was further from the hustling and bustling of Hong Kong metropolis life BUT thanks to Hong Kong terrific public transportation infrastructure, the hotel is a terrific location...the bus stop is right at your doorstep...you can go anywhere at your convenience and at a small price too...for example, we took the airport bus only costing $HK 23 each, we took the bus to Central (Macau Ferry) for just $HK 16 each. The train stations are just 10 mins away...all in all , we had a very nice experience at Sha Tin...

Cold & CozyPosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: The location is great. The area is not too crowded, but still have access to transportation and shopping center.
Cons: Need more accurate air conditioning.
Location: Shatin shopping center just a 10-15 minutes walk away. If you want food, you don't even need to leave the residential area.
The bedroom certainly looks different from the photos provided. It was a tiny room enough for one queen size bed and a bathroom. Overall, it was a nicely decorated room, neat and tidy with mirrors all over the wall. On the first night, the was a smell issue with the bed sheet along with the blanket. The odor emitted is not due to the bed sheet was not washed, it's actually a damp odor after a piece of clothing has been washed, but didn't get properly dried out. That is understandable consider the weather climate condition in Hong Kong. My concern was the room service could not provide me with a blanket, only the bed sheet could be change. Another issue was the air conditioning was freezing. I had the temperature adjusted to 24 degree celsius (75F), but air condition was still blowing hard, ALL NIGHT ALONG. To make it worst, the air vent was aiming directly on to my bed. That gave me a little cold in the morning.
