“Great value for the budget-minded”

The room was clean and well-maintained. It was a bit small but manageable since I did not stay in the room all day anyway. Hotel location was superb. It was actually pretty quiet. Staff was professional and polite.

“Cost effective for one, maybe two people”

As noted in other reviews, the room was inexpensive, but small. Not a problem if you only stay in the room to sleep. There's not much room to spread out a lot of luggage (not a problem for me--use the bed to organize). They had an entire non-smoking floor (hard to find in China). The bed was comfortable, the floor, walls and bathroom clean, the room had heat and water was hot. Staff at the front desk were polite, efficient and professional (note that in Hong Kong generally, these positive attributes translate to an apparent lack of joviality). I would return if by myself, maybe with one other.

The room is small but it is clearn. If they can provide free internet, at least in the lobby, that will be great.

Their twin bed room can easily accomodate a family of four if you are small in built. Good costumer service and responds immediately to any requests.

Dorsett Seaview Hotel has a good location. The hotel is not far from MTR Station and close to night market. There are also a lot of dining places nearby. Only few minutes I can walk to Mongkok-a major shopping areas. The room is clean. Next time I will book the room at Dorsett Seaview again. ^_^

“Good Hotel for Price”

The Dorsett is a good hotel... if you can get a good price. The hotel is well located, looks good, is clean (newly renovated) and well maintained. The only issue is: the room is tiny. Tiny. So the Dorsett is great if the price is low. But if the price is not low, then you should find another hotel with larger rooms... which may be difficult in East Asia, where the rooms generally are small.

if you go for bazaars and flea markets then this is the perfect hotel for you.. it is small but clean and comfortable.. for the money we paid this was very very good.. the hotel also has free airport shuttle to the express train station which is a big plus and a savings of $30HK .. it is conveniently located near food shops .. i will recommend and consider booking again in the future
