Perfect budget hotel for a few nights in Hong KongPosted Jul 5, 2014
It was a little difficult to find, as I hasn't really looked into it too much. However location was very central. Not the most glamorous neighbourhood, but it's all you need as you're minutes walk from the Yai Ma Tei MTR station so you can get to anywhere on the island with ease. Staff weren't friendly at all, didn't even get a smile out of them. But overall the stay was fine, and cleanliness was quite good.

Not a bad stayPosted Jun 15, 2014
My wife and I went to check in to the hotel at 11:30 PM, there was just one staff at the front desk. Maybe it was late, the staff didn't show much welcoming expression. Anyhow, after we've got the key to our room, we were a little disappointed to see 2 single beds, instead of 1 queen size bed which I asked for when booking online. Please be aware, the hotel's location is not in a friend neighbourhood. That area is well known for night market, night club, brothel... So the street is not going to be clean, and you should not be surprise to see odd looking characters around. (That being said, I am completely okay with the detail. Wife was not please.)

Hotel with excellent locationPosted Jun 1, 2014
Cons: The hairdryer is too weak (in terms of power). The lobby is usually packed with people, makes it difficult for people with luggage to move around.
The hotel is at a centralised location, being near the Yau Ma Tei MTR station, a few stops away from Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay etc. The hotel is also a 5-10min taxi ride from Kowloon Station. Even if your flight is in the wee hours of the morning, the public bus which brings you to the airport directly stops 5 mins from the hotel. This is my second time staying in this hotel (first time in May 2013), the wifi is much better now with better speed. The hotel staff's grasp of the English language has improved as well. Most importantly, the hotel is near good food such as Yee Shun Milk Company and Australian Dairy. Hui Lau Shan Dessert is just opposite the hotel. Hence, it is safe to say that I would definitely stay at this hotel for my future visits to Hong Kong.

Close to MTR rail and marketsPosted May 31, 2014
Pros: Rooms were cleaned everyday and it was clean
Cons: Needs a bit of renovation
Location: Close to the public transport the MTR RAIL just around the corner, bus stops and plenty of shops and not far from jade, temple and ladies market
Room was clean and was serviced everyday but small which was expected, staff friendly and understood English fairly well. Close to the public transport the MTR RAIL just around the corner, bus stops and plenty of shops and not far from jade, temple and ladies market
