“Clean, clean, clean beyond expectation.”

Pleasantly surprised at the serive I was offered as well as at the price I paid for. The location was great, extrmely easy to reach other parts of town by bus, metro or taxi. The hotel was clean beyond expectation and would recommend it without a single moment of esitation to my friends who like to indulge into luxury butwho also would sometimes be willing to save a dollar or two. Service was good, the menu in the restaurant could use some more variation but who would look a given horse in its mouth? It may not be a 5 star facility but again, you do not pay for that.

“IT'S HONG KONG'S BEST HOTEL FOR BUDGET TRAVELLERS”

I was really happy with my stay with this hotel. Check-in was an instant. The staff were polite, friendly and thay can all speak in very good English. In 5 minutes, we were already opening or room. The room was nice, clean and cozy. It's a lot more better than what can be seen from the pictures in their website. It is complete with extra pillows, beddings, a Tefal electric "thermos" for boiling water, drinking glasses, shampoos, toothbrush and toothpaste, tissues, handtowels and bath towels that they change everyday. The towels are clean and so white. It has a TV and refrigerator which are all working. We moved the beds together so we can form a big bed and accomodate the kids. It's ok for them. For the following days, we came home with the beddings already fixed in that manner. Location is also great. Wellcome supermarket is just a short distance from the hotel. So if you need to stock up on things like in my case I stocked up on coke in cans (very cheap in wellcome), noodles which we eat if we get hungry during the night, cookies and pastries and even batteries. 7-11, mannings and watsons is also a stone throw away. They have a restaurant, but I havent tried to eat there as we always have food as soon as we got to the hotel. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the yau ma tei mtr. In our case, we usually take a cab to the mtr as you will only pay the flat rate of 18hkd. We also left our baggage on our last day while we are on our last minute shopping --- for free.

“This YWCA hotel is not too bad!”

My impression in this YWCA for 4 nights stay was not bad. The counter employees were very helpful and friendly. My room was clean. I think this hotel needs some remodling. It needs new paints for everywhere, especially the rooms and the shower rooms.

“A basic yet cozy place”

I stayed in a room that had 2 twin size beds. The shared bathroom was down the hall, about 15 feet away. Both my room and the bathroom were very clean. There are separate keys to each. I felt very safe and comfortable. If you are looking for an affordable, basic place to stay, this is it. It certainly gets the job done, but it isn't a 5 star either. Of note, there is no gym on site, but there is cable internet for a low price (pay per half hour). There is also a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport (in case the airport express shuttle isn't early enough for your flight) for 110 HKD, which is quite reasonable.

“With this low price, people shouldn't complain much!”

The location is OK. The service and amenities are minimal. The environment is pretty clean. The room size is like a personal school dorm. The staffs are courteous. The cost of the room is excellent. So, if you are a very budge minded person who is not looking for something fancy at all but a clean safe place to stay, provided not too far away from busy strip, try this one.

“YMCA - The Anne Black”

Hotels in HK charge more for the weekend days. I needed a cheaper place to spend the Sunday. The hotel is good and clean and relatively well located in Kowloon. The bed was extremely hard which was the only negative. The place is clean and the service good.

“Impressed with hotel service”

I was very happy and impressed with how helpful hotel staff was. I lost the keys to the lock on my luggage and was looking for an efficient way to get to the airport. They helped me break the lock at no charge and arranged for a shuttle to the airport. They were friendly and spook English. The shuttle fare was half of what it would have been at another nearby hotel. The shuttle was on time and looked to be in good condition. The hotel room was good size but a bit dated. It's situated a bit off the main shopping area, and public transportation but still within walking distance. The hotel feels more like a hostel/dorm. It's clean and safe. I was glad that I stayed there because the staff.
