“Awesome Condition of Hotel”
One of the worse hotels that I have ever stayed in. It use to be a YMCA, and the room looks like it still is. It has not been renovated. The rates that you are paying for this room are not worth it. Please avoid the mistake that I made.
“NIce”
Well located, good place to be
“Hardest beds, smallest rooms and very expensive”
We got the superior rooms and they were very small. I slept in 3 different hotels in China and Hong Kong and this room was by far the smallest and the most uncomfortable bed. Ugh. I may stay here again but I will definitely review my options and see if I can find something with a descent price and more comfortable. Most of the hotel employees that I interacted with spoke enough English to get by and that was acceptable. No wi-fi in the room so don't plan on using the iDevice if staying here.
“Not impressed”
Additional charge for internet access.
“My first choice of hotel in Hong Kong”
Good location and convenience are two of the main factors for me to consider when choosing a hotel in Hong Kong, and this hotel has both of them. The Cityview is located right in the middle of Kowloon. It is very close to MTR subway's Yau Ma Tei Station (2 minutes' walk from hotel), major bus lines leading to just about anywhere in Hong Kong, including the Cityflyer bus to Hong Kong International Airport. In a densely populated metropolis like Hong Kong, one wouldn't want to walk that extra block to get to the hotel, especially during the hot and humid summer months. This hotel is very clean, and the staff is courteous and very helpful. The hotel room is a little small but comfortable, but then the small size of the room is true for just about most hotels in Hong Kong. I would definitely go back to stay there again, and recommend it other travelers.
“Ok for the price, super convenient location”
I spent three nights at this hotel. Overall I was satisfied with the room I had but I was not in a very demanding attitude. Pros: * Just one block away from the MTR subway * There's a 7-11 just outside the hotel, to get drinks or snacks * Just two blocks away from the Ladies Market, the Electronics Market and the Sporting Goods market * It has restaurant and bar * It has an indoor pool (shared with the YMCA) * The service was great, everybody was really energetic in giving me a good treatment Cons: * It could be more clean, the first night I had to request them to change the sheets and pillows because I found hairs in the bed * The carpet was kind of dirty too * The restroom had areas that could be a little more clean * The pool has restricted hours and it's not owned by the hotel * Internet is not free, but this is the case for almost every hotel in HK If you are too picky, choose another hotel. The rooms here are small but comfy, it's definitely NOT a luxurious option in HK. If I come back to HK someday I may choose another hotel, but just barely...
“Possible return to this hotel”
Very convience to MTR and many shopping places. Room size a touch small but i seen smaller. Overall a good place to stay.
“Roald”
Room too small. Can only watch TV by laying in bed. Bathroom shower hose frayed. Expect better from this price of hotel. Food very expensive. Cost of WiFi too high.. (expected free.)
“A Class hotel in all ways!”
Upon arrival I had no idea what to expect, this hotel and the staff totally blew me away!. I took the train from the airport directly to a central hub, there you must take a taxi to the hotel. I recommend the R/T ticket from the airport to the central hub as it in allot cheaper than buying 2 one way tickets. The taxi ride is an experience you may never forget, so hold on. As for the hotel... it's right next to a subway hub which makes for total convience in shopping , dining & restaurants. The conciere staff is second to none and goes far beyond normal desires. The tailors district is fantastic and also close by. Custom garmets can be duplicated or created & delivered usually within 2 days time. If ever back in Hong Kong I will definately stay there again! 24 hours restaurants and convience stores are within a 2 minute walk too.
“Good location good services”
Near the metro. Staffs were very helpful.
