“Slightly older hotel in great location with great harbor view.”
The hotel, though slightly older, is one of the few hotels in Hong Kong that I have stayed in (I frequently traveled there for work between 2007-2010) that is 1) in this price range 2) has a great location 3) has rooms of this size. Not to mention the great view of the harbor (Kownloon side) that we had. Despite being on a slightly lower floor of the hotel, we could see the cars on the busy roads below but couldn't hear them. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel that is clean, convenient and better than the sparser, newer hotels that are popping up all over Hong Kong.
“Great Service”
As a frequent guest, I was generously given an upgrade! Thank you!
“Good hotel with great bar with live music”
The Excelsior Hong Kong is one of the many fine business hotels between 5 and 4 star, clean, efficient English speaking staff, with one exception, on the top floor, you'll find a bar with live music and a dance floor. That makes all the difference in this hotel.
“great hotel great location”
i stayed in harbour view room ... it was great with great view .... good location near the station... friendly staff ...
“Great stay in Causeway Bay”
This Hotel is conveniently close to the MTR station which is a phenominally efficient system. The hotel is a little older by Hong Kong standards but very elegant and the service was top rate. The rooms a bit small and dated but very clean and comfortable. I recommend it! Also there is a great little British Pub downstairs!
