“Clean and well located .”
The hotel was well located in the heart of TST and walking distance to transportation and shopping. I would definitely recommend anybody to stay here.
“Superb hotel in Hong Kong!”
I just returned from a five-night stay at The Langham Hong Kong and was throoughly impressed; I would highly recommend it for anyone staying in Kowloon. The ambience and the location of the hotel just can't be beat, but what really left an overwhelming positive impression for me was the quality of the service. To a person, they are courteous, helpful and friendly--I almost felt like I was leaving my family by the time I departed! I was unable to try all of their restaurants, but I particularly enjoyed the Palm Court--a delightful area to unwind after a busy day of touring or for a nightcap. One final benefit: the Langham is on the route of the Airport Express, thus making going to and from the airport a painless process! Great experience from beginning to end.
“Great central location!”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Langham. The central location in Kowloon was great for access to both upscale and local shopping, as well as so convenient to the Star Ferry. We partook of the breakfast buffet, lobby lounge, and room service. The food was excellent, and the service prompt and polite. The concierge was very helpful with directions and reservations. We would absolutely stay there again!
“Good value for Money”
The location of the hotel was very convenient. It's close to the promenade and the Harbour Center and the Canton Road shopping area. It's also close enough to the Tsim Shat Tsui MTR. The hotel lobby was impressive and our hotel room was large by Hong Kong standards and it had complete room and bathroom amenities. The health club was also great. All in all, a good value for money. But it would have been perfect if the room was renovated and the carpet changed. The room we were given had a faint musty smell and my husband and I had allergies which we assumed was due to the carpet or the curtains. It's a good thing we had antihistamines so the problem was solved. The Tang restaurant was worth its 2 Michelin stars. We had lunch at the restaurant and the dimsum were excellent especially the abalone on pastries. The restaurant staff also provided great service.
“Modern , avant garde .; will stay here in future if on Kowloon side..”
I am impressed with the concierge service; even the GM (either an American or English) personally got for me an umbrella when it was raining when he saw me at the door and enquired if I needed one to go outside. That's very personalised service!
“Unbeatable location, 5 star accomodations”
* 5 min walk to harbor city (shopping complex), Gucci, Chanel, LV, etc * Duty free shop right next door * 5 min walk to victoria harbor for the hk skyline * 5-star hotel accommodations and service * charges for wifi per 24 hours * has a great buffet in the lobby and 3 luxury restaurants
“One of the handful TOP HOTELS in HK”
The hotel is just perfect.....but being so close to all these tempting shopping facilities........., make sure your credit card is " loaded ".
“Nice hotel and great location, but....”
The hotel was very nice and all the staff were wonderful but, I was traveling with two elderly ladies and we were placed on the top floor. The elevator did not go to the top floor so we had to take the stairs. We asked to change this but they couldn't change our rooms. The water was also turned off in the hotel from 11:00 am to 8:00 on Saturday which seemed strange for such a large hotel and company. This was also an inconvenience. The hotel staff did not seemed concerned about our inconvenience which I found unusual.
“Nice Hotel, good location”
We were slightly shocked when we first arrived as this was not the hotel we thought it was as we have been to Honk Kong many times before. However we were there and it was only 1 night. On arrival we were swiftly shown to our Suite, which looked rather tired and in need of refurbishment. But anyway, we settled in and went to the Club lounge which was excellent – good hospitality, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, and as it turned out great cocktails and evening food – none of this nonsense about removing the food within 15 seconds of the end of the time table – all very relaxed with people enjoying themselves and drinks served till 11pm when they came round and checked if we would like more! That evening we were called by the Concierge to request if we needed help with dinner reservations and car back to the airport and they arranged everything. As it happened we did not feel so good so eat at the hotel restaurant, which also provided good friendly service, even when there was a slight problem, they gave us a few drink each and 20% discount – I was impressed with that, as many other hotels we have stayed in would have done nothing. All in all we would go back again, primarily due to the service level of the hotel and club room staff.
“one of the best hotels I have ever used”
Beautiful well maintained nice smelling hotel...one of the best I have ever been to.
