Great service, great location and nice rooms. Would definitley stay again. For the price we paid on Expedia this hotlel was great value, although I think the normal listed price is too expensive.

“Not bad for the price and location”

It's not easy to find the combination of location and price in Kowloon's shopping district, but the Mindin fits the bill. After trapsing all over Kowloon we found the best shopping to be close to the hotel.

“Hotel good value for money”

The hotel was located in a small sidestreet but inside very neat and tidy.The rooms were small with not much room for your luggage except for under desk.However the bedlinen and towels were always very clean and changed daily.The staff were very helpful and friendly.The bed was VERY hard and over 6 nights made you ache. The street we found out was 'up and coming' for nightlife which meant VERY NOISY especially on the lower floors, so ask for a higher floor room. Having said that earlier reports intimated that the area didn't feel safe at night which we didn't find to be the case. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient to set you up for the morning. We would certainly return when next in Hong Kong.

“Minden in Hong Kong: Nice but noisy”

The hotel is in a busy nightclub neighborhood and raucous street noise, car horns and shouting, went on until about 6 am 2 nights (Saturday and Monday) but not others. Definitely ask for a room on the back of the hotel. Room was reasonably large and clean but the "on-demand" water heater was cranky and unreliable. Free cable internet was great. Location near the u-bahn station was super. Staff were freindly, organized and helpful. I'd still stay here but that is because it is a reasonable bargain at one fourth the cost of the big name hotels.

The Minden is a very nice small hotel in an excellent location. The room was well equipped and maintained. A good continental breakfast is included.

“Good value for money”

After reading previous reviews I knew what to expect. Overall good value for money, rooms a bit small and noisy neighborhood. I found no suprises, location is great with MTR just a couple of minutes away and a 10 minute walk to Kowloon esplanard/foreshore and ferries. It is a busy neighbourhood but as I was on the 16th floor, noise was not a problem. Other than room being just a bit small for two adults this hotel is clean with good service and good value for money. I will definately stay here again on future trips to Hong Kong.

“Convenient Hotel”

The hotel was very nice, good location, clean rooms... The only thing was that the rooms were small, but it was OK overall. We would choose Minden Hotel for our next stay in Hong Kong.

“Nice, small, good price, convenient location boutique hotel”

Great price, good location. Yes it is small, but this is HK. Be warned that the street at night becomes a Bar street, so it can be a little noisy. Even with all the bars, the noise was surprisingly not an issue; only for about 15mn of car honking at 4:00am on Saturday when the bars close and people leave. It is a boutique hotel so the lobby is just a small room with a front desk, nothing grandiose. The price was great, with free internet, I made an international phone call which compare to other HK hotel was not very expansive. Location is great, K11 shopping center with good restaurants is a block away, with MTR below, it was very convenient. I would stay there again, you can't beat the price.
