Wanchai VPosted May 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room 801. Plenty of space in this room but don't assume you're room is the same. There are two rooms on each floor and I noticed on the back of the door a floor plan that showed that room 802 next door was much smaller. Bed was very good, supportive but not hard and I slept well reach night. Noise level outside was very low, but I did keep the aircon on because of the heat so this could have masked the noise. The surrounding neighbourhood is typical Hong Kong, with a small business stripping the words from electric cables next door and a few people sitting in the street. Don't be alarmed, they're harmless. The MTR is minutes away and Causeway Bay the next stop so shopping for luxury goods is convenient. Shopping in Wanchai is for locals and much more fun than Causeway Bay! They're is no restaurant or other facilities here, all you get is a room with some kitchen facilities. In my case two sets of dishes and a microwave! I always eat out so not a problem for me. Room was kept clean each day. My only criticism is the shower in the bath. I never use baths and prefer the shower to be separate. If you enjoy a bath you're happy. I've also stayed in V2, a sister hotel in Wanchai, and this had no bath but a good shower and suits me better. I've stayed in many HK hotels and most have been not as good as this one.

Boutique Hotel is a nice place to stayPosted Mar 20, 2014
Nice little boutique hotel just off one of the main streets in Wan Chai. Rooms are comfortable and fairly big. Was charmed by the self pour wine and complimentary potato chips in the lobby each evening.

Pleasant 8 night stay!Posted Mar 19, 2014
V Wan Chai was everything it promised to be. Large modern rooms which are hard to find at a decent price in HK and close to all the action. MTR is close by so it doesn't take long to get to any destination you wish to visit. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help with any queries. Also loved the free laundry service on the 3rd floor, a big plus when you are staying multiple nights. This property is a perfect base to explore HK from! Bravo V Wan Chai!

Decent hotel but pretty pricey for that qualityPosted Mar 18, 2014
Room size was good. However the toilet was pretty basic (with shower curtains!) Kitchen had no sink. Quality of furnishing was average. For the price I paid I could have gotten a better quality hotel

Best $100 hotel in WanchaiPosted Mar 14, 2014
Very Large rooms. Excellent staff and service. Limited facilities but $200 cheaper than a 5 star hotel so all in all a great stay.
