Renovated great hotel

Posted Feb 18, 2015
My room has obviously recently been renovated. Not a mark on the walls. Granite counter tops, nice microwave and small refrigerator (no freezer). Carpet looks like new. Furniture is nice, comfortable bed. Spotless! Staff couldn't be nicer. Breakfast is available every day, dinner Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday here, Friday through Monday it is at another close by hotel, with a shuttle available. I ate here and enjoyed each meal, but never went to the other hotel, so can't comment on their food. There is a McDonald's about 2 blocks away. Otherwise no other close place to eat. The little store in the hotel has some food items, things easy to fix in your room. This has been a great place to stay if trying to save money by fixing some meals in your room. They do replace the coffee each day so can always make a pot of coffee.

Good location but run down and overpriced.

Booked double beds for one night. Small room with uncomfortable beds. Just not what I expected for the price. The staff was friendly and the breakfast restaurant was good.

Pros: location to airport, free airport shuttle and staff.
Cons: eliminate musty odors and clean around edges in rooms.
Location: close to honolulu airport.
met our needs. best alternative for making an early flight out of HNL. shuttle from airport was great. hotel staff very friendly and effecient. only negatives were the room had a musty smell and dirt around edges of room. restaurant was closed on friday night. the hotel did shuttle us to a nearby sister hotel for dinner.

Good choice for a flight stop over

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Close to airport
We chose this hotel for a flight stop over arriving at 10pm and departing at 9am the following morning. On arrival, we were able to purchase some cereal and milk for our breakfast in the lobby convenience store. Room was comfortable and quiet, and with shuttles leaving every 30 minutes, it was a good choice. Recommended.

Too pricey for what it is

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Lobby area is bright and pleasant. Convenience Store and vending machines inside hotel
Cons: rooms in need of refurbishment to reflect the price of the hotel.
The shuttle from Honolulu airport was very fast. Called the hotel using the airport phone and the shuttle arrived just as we were walking to the stop. The lobby was bright and tidy. There was even a convenience store to buy snacks and also vending machines scattered throughout the hotel. The room was decently sized, but old. Would be good if the rooms were refurbished to reflect the price of the hotel. There is a restaurant for breakfast. You can order omelettes, eggs benedict etc. Breakfast isnt free. Conveniently close to the airport but overpriced for such room conditions.

Convenient location that fits your basic needs.

Older hotel that's a quarter of a mile from the airport. It's not fancy, but it filled my needs. I'm not the type of person who travels to hang out in hotels. A hotel for me is a place to change clothes before I go to my next planned event and to sleep at night. I felt safe there. It was clean. The staff was nice and very helpful. If you are HIGH MAINTENANCE, this not the hotel for you! Because it's older, it could use some remodeling. Even in it's older condition, it's still a nice stay. It also has a very responsive and free shuttle service that sticks with the schedule. I gave the facilities a four instead of a five because the fitness center's A/C wasn't working, which made it a little steamy in there to workout. Unfortunately, I didn't notify the staff about it, so I can't blame them completely for it. I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends.
