Castle Pacific Marina Inn Airport Hotel

We wanted a small, but pleasant room near the Honolulu Airport. It was cozy, clean, non-smoking, and it suited our needs perfectly. After all, we didn't go all the way to Oahu just to sit in a hotel room! Priced very reasonably, we were totally satisfied with our room. The stress of our do-it-yourself GPS touring was relieved greatly, and we relaxed, which was the main idea!

The condition and upkeep of the hotel as a hotel was okay. The condition and upkeep of my particular room was disappointing. The important bits (like the bed) were clean and fresh. The lobby and pool area are well kept. The staff was very nice to me--jovial, even--and the shuttle came very quickly. It served its purpose for a one night stay waiting for a connecting flight. My recommendation: If you choose to stay here, ask for a room facing the pool.

Super nice management. Picked us up from the airport after a 11:00pm flight. Small but clean room. Fantastic for the price. Wife was starving so went to the bar to see what we could dig up. Bartender served us free homemade stew and rice to go with our beers. Would recommend to everyone who ever has a layover in Honolulu. Gave us a late checkout because our flight got delayed too!!

It was cool for what it was. I only used it for sleeping, but nobody bothered me so that was a plus.

Peeling paint. Generally not kept up. Ok for just sleeping overnight. I would use Pacific Marina Inn again. But I would probably look elsewhere first. Clean pool.

You will need to phone motel for pickup at airport, and watch for the van to show up in the designated area. Van driver seemed in a rush, and did not see us in the area, so left without us. We had to phone a second time.

Good location and a well kept older hotel. Staff was good pool area nice.

Ok, since only spent time in room was to shower and sleep. Room could be upgraded, but overall, stay was comfortable. Free parking is a plus! It is in an industrial area only 5 minutes from airport, so this seems more for business people rather than families. Only complaint is that there wasn't an elevator, which made it difficult carrying suitcase up the stairs.

Do not stay there...pics online look great! This is a old hotel. No elevator to 2nd or 3rd floor. Everything is old. It might be worth $50 a night.

We flew in to Honolulu late and had an early flight to Hilo. This airport was inexpensive and convenient. The shuttle was free to and from airport. If we had stayed in Waikiki it would have cost for a shuttle or cab ride and it would have taken 30 minutes to get there. Pacific Marina was a great solution for a great price. It has a nice pool, friendly staff, and decent vending machines. Only $2 for soda and water.
