Close to the airport and reasonably pricedPosted Mar 4, 2014
Location: nothing nearby except airport, but bus pickup is only 2 blocks away
It was a nuisance that the attached restaurant was closed on Mondays, but the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels.

Convenient Pleasant Pool AreaPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Hanging out in lounge chairs by pool, landscaping good there, makes little oasis in industrial area
Cons: would have been nice to have convenience store near, some vending machines available, no coffee maker in room
Location: walk down lagoon park but not good place for swimming, Ice Palance skating rink a couple of miles away, public bus two blocks away, Harley Davidson
Good place to stay if you are on a budget and have too much luggage for bus. Free shuttle from airport, hang out in their pleasant area by pool, use Internet, and walk two blocks to take public bus $2.50 to Waikiki.

OK hotel close to the AirportPosted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: 1. Proximity to airport 2. Shuttle Service 3. Relatively quiet
Cons: A decent on-site restaurant or one nearby would be a welcome improvement.
We booked this hotel explicitly so we could get back and forth to the airport easily to catch our flight to Molokai after arriving from Washington state the day before. The staff was reasonably helpful, the rooms were basic but clean. The bathroom was very compact - and somewhat cramped to get in and out of. We didn't expect luxury, and we weren't surprised. Altogether, it was satisfactory. The industrial neighborhood is somewhat off-putting, and there are few nearby amenities. The lounge was closed due to filming an episode of Hawaii Five-O, but weren't inclined to use the lounge anyway.

Close to airportPosted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the airport. Good valus for the price
The hotel is very close to the airport but not much airport noise at night. Its great if you have a short stopover. Rooms are small but clean and staff are pleasant. The pool is a good size and although we didn't use it, it was clean and pleasant to sit around. It would be good for a short stay but as rooms are small you would feel cramped very soon.We will stay there again if we need accommodation for 1-3 days.

The hotel was located in an industrial zone.Posted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Close to airport with free airport shuttle.
Cons: Everything, from location, to room amenities and feel, hotel staff, etc. It needs to be knocked down and replaced or placed somewhere more appealing.
Location: Nothing but watch traffic on Nimitz Hwy, or residents/locals (not sure which), smoking in the parking lot right outside my room.
The hotel felt more like a motel. The plus side to this hotel is that it is close to the airport and has a free airport shuttle. However, it is located in an industrial zone, far from downtown, and not near any restaurants. There was a cheezy chinese restaurant with Karaoke located in front of the hotel. Overall, the place does not feel very pleasant. The rooms are small and cavelike. So I had to pass the time outside on pool furniture. The people staying there were also quite noisy. And the hotel staff was far from friendly.

Quick comfort for the tired travellerPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Close distance to the airport, and 24-hour shuttle service
Cons: See my comments about room lighting.
Change the bulbs in the room to daylight so the room is brighter and more conducive to soothe eye strain for tired traveller. Also, aircon in the room was too noisy.

Great shuttle, poor roomsPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Shuttle service!
Cons: extensive remodel? New furniture? continental breakfast?
Location: This hotel seemed to be in an industrial park adjacent to the airport and was convenient for flying out. It is close to Pearl Harbor sights.
Rooms were clean but very small, old, and worn out. HOWEVER, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the free shuttle service was very good - you call and they come get you and runs to the airport are every half hour - on time, friendly, and no other stops en route. After our Waikiki hotel, it was humbling but certainly adequate and met our need of getting to the airport early in the morning.

convenient to airportPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Close to the airport, free shuttle.
Cons: Complete remodel wouldn't hurt. Lobby and grounds are reasonably nice.
Location: Bad location, nothing to do, but wait for your next flight out.
Super close to the airport, with a free shuttle ride. If you are only flying into and out of Honolulu and just need a place to sleep, this will suffice. Old and outdated, the rooms have been remodeled, but barely. The place is clean enough and the pool area is really pretty. The restaurant is not bad. Overall, everything's adequate, and will do, if all you need is a place to sleep while you wait for your next flight. It's also in the middle of the warehouse district, so you are pretty much surrounded by business's and storage buildings. Although it's a only a short walk to the ocean, I wouldn't go out at night to see it. The neighborhood looks a bit rough.
