“Excellent stay near Hilo”

“Exciting Trip”

The Palms turned out to be the quiet, romantic get away we had dreamed of. The personell were very friendly and and committed to providing great service to their guest. They provided great assistance in seeing the sights of the Big Island. Breakfast in the morning was excellent watching the sun rise while sitting in the lanai. We had a memorable time. Thanks

“Idyllic Setting”

Beautifully maintained rooms and grounds. Ocean view from rooms is fabulous. The 2 breakfasts that we had were quite good. Courtesy coffee is available to guests in the dining area. This was not made clear at check in. Coffee makers were in every room but coffee packets were extra. This probably was not a smart business move as some guests were offended. It would probably serve the owners better to charge a few dollars extra for the rooms and have the coffee available gratis. The owners were very nice and had spent so much time and love attending to details that it would be a shame for them to lose business over such a silly oversight. Highly recommended.

“Beautiful Hawaiian B&B”

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, more relaxing place to stay. The room, the grounds and the view were fabulous. The innkeepers were warm and gracious, and every aspect of their service was great. Each morning as we ate a delicious breakfast (e.g., pineapple pancakes with sausage and fresh fruit from the garden) on a lanai overlooking a deep blue ocean, my husband and I kept thinking "It doesn't get much better than this!" It was definitely the highlight of our Hawaiian vacation.

“A Hidden Jewel”

Beautiful accommodations in an absolutely stunning location. The only sounds from our balcony were birds and the sounds of the surf against the cliffs.........oh yes,along with a few rosters at dawn. With only six rooms, the owners make guests feel like kings and queens.

The simply beauity of nature and old world charm hospitality make for a fantastic view of how the rich used to live at what is a very reasonable. no almost cheap price. It is great!

“Already Planning another stay with The Palms Cliff House”

There aren't enough words in the English language to describe our stay. The staff was incredible. Our stay at this Bed and Breakfast was the absolute best we have ever experienced. Location, AWESOME.

“Wonderful Getaway”

This hotel is 10 miles north of Hilo. It was wonderful. Very relaxing, very quiet, and you felt like you were by yourself in the paradise that is Hawaii. We almost did not come back home!

“Peaceful, relaxing, fantastic view”

Not usually a B & B fan, but this place is great. Beautiful house and grounds. Great service and delicious breakfast. Only saw our room in person and it was so nice. The website has many pictures so you do know what you are getting.

“Home away from home”

The overlook to the ocean is beautiful. Waking up to the sunrise was awesome. After coming back from excursions we always found it to feel like home when we drove up the driveway each night. Every morning, it was a pleasure to find a wonderful breakfast waiting for us before our next excursion. The owner's were great to chat with.
