A reasonable location; close to the train station but a bit of a walk from the centre of town. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable and generous size. great bathroom with separate bath and shower. evening buffet is excellent value with quality food and drink. would recommend cons: poor air con so room was too hot

The room was large, quiet, and very comfortable with all the amenities you could need or want. A casino was part of the complex. A large dining room was on the premise, which looked wonderful, but we didn't go there so I can't evaluate it. The only drawback for us since we arrived by train, we had about a15 minute walk to town and restaurants. What I also really liked is that they would plant a tree each day you passed on getting the room cleaned. I really like that idea.

I have stayed there a few times when visiting Holland. It is a location next to a highway, good for business meetings. Less so for tourism as it is not in walking distance from the pittoresque center of the old town and its harbor. Nice, updated modern hotel with good facilities. Only negative issue was that I found out when getting to Schiphol airport around 2pm that my business meeting had to be moved to one day later because my associate was delayed at a Covid related funeral in Germany. So I called the hotel to ask to move my reservation one night, but they were inflexible. They referred to the non-cancellable feature, and my argument that I was not cancelling but asking for a switch to the following night due to an issue out of my control fell on deaf ears. My recommendation to other travelers is to just reserve the same day, rather than in advance, as there is a lot of availability nowadays anyway.

Extremely satisfied with choosing this hotel.
We loved the spacious room with big picture windows, plus they had us facing away from the autoroute. The bed was very comfortable (not so thin and hard) and with extra pillow. The deep soaking tub was wonderful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and a great value; flowers on the tables a nice touch. Self-Parking is easy. Downtown Hoorn is a very easy drive. The staff is very friendly. Check-out and billing was accurate. We actually extended one night and the front desk made that easy. The dinner menu in the hotel restaurant looked good (and it was busy) but we didn’t have an opportunity to dine there. It might get a little warm in the middle of summer in the room unless the aircon also cools then.

Great hotel for business
Hotel is excellent and staff are so friendly. Rooms are a decent size and spotless. I found the mattress slightly uncomfortable, which is unusual for me, as i'm of those people that can sleep anywhere, but apart from that, the rooms are perfect. I have stayed here several times for work and found the rooms to be consistently good. The only negative is that you cannot go anywhere from the hotel without a car. Having said that, when travelling for work, there is no need to go anywhere as the hotel provides everything you need. Will definitely be staying there again
