Large Suprise

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Physical size of the condominium was much larger than expected.
Cons: Granite counter tops.
Location: Located on the lake with good access.
I have stayed in a number of condo's over the years, Emerald Isle compares favorably. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The condominium complete is not realy large so the traffic was none existant. The condominium was in very good condition with just a few, very small things that needed a little attention (similar to all condominiums). The condiminium was surprisingly much larger than most I have stayed. The unit was very clean and the HVAC worked very well. Some aspects of the unit were dated (not worn) but did not hurt the functionality. Bathrooms were large as well as the closets, bedrooms were decent sized.

Emerald Isle is old but it has an amazing view

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: The amenities, the view, and the size of the condo.
Cons: There is hardley any hot water in the units. The faucets are old and hard to work and the shower door was in bad shape.
Location: Hot Springs is a beautiful city! Mountains & lakes. We enjoyed the Mountain View tower, horse races, and magic show.
The rooms are old & there is not much hot water, but the view and the location is amazing. The condo is big, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and an eating area. You do have to take off your own sheets and pile them up when you leave, take out any trash, and wash the dishes you use. Not hard to do. If you loose the room key they charge you $150. Outside there is a pool, hot tub, swings, a slide, miniature golf, and a tennis court with a basketball hoop and it is all surrounded by the lake with views of the mountains. At night a beautiful fire pit turns on. My kids loved it. I would stay here again. The amenities and view made it worth it. They also have paddleboats and canoes.
