Overpriced.Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Everything was in working order and clean. Amenities were upscale. Situated on a lovely lake with nice views.
Was sold as a Bed and Breakfast. That was not the experience that I had. It was more like a small hotel with a dining area and breakfast. It lacked the personal attention that you look for in a B&B. It was the first time I booked a B&B and was not contacted about arrival or accommodations.

Best place for some R & R.Posted May 27, 2013
Pros: The staff, the grounds, the Inn, and the food were all exceptional. We loved watching the birds.
Cons: Our room was small but comfortable. One suggestion: provide a larger ice dispenser for the guests.
Location: The location is about 5 miles from Hot Springs, which is convenient. We enjoyed the baths and our favorite sightseeing was at Garvan Woodland Gardens
We were on a Rest and Relaxation trip after tax season. Lookout Point Inn provided a place with a beautifully appointed Inn, delicious gourmet breakfasts, sculpted gardens to walk, a lake to sit by and enjoy the calm, a labyrinth for meditating. The staff were friendly, helpful, professional. The management has thought of every detail to make the guests welcome and comfortable. It is a place we highly recommend and will come back to.

Outstanding views over Lake HamiltonPosted May 15, 2012
Pros: The view and the personal service
Cons: Difficult to locate on the internet
Location: Outstanding in a private location overlooking the lake. You do not expect to find this sort of place when you start out
A small private hotel that gives personal service and knows all guests. The views are superb and everybody is friendly

The Lookout is truly a gem. The attention to detail is second to none at this peaceful retreat. Ideal location yet silent. The hosts are two of the nicest people you will ever meet, ready to facilitate your every need. After one day of relaxing lakeside in the beautiful gardens you will never want to leave. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This hotel was excellent. We checked and the hotel staff immediately welcomed us and learned our names. Every time one of the staff saw us they acknowledged my wife and greeted us by using our last name. There is a beautiful view of the lake, a well maintained yard with a hammoc, a boat dock, and benches to sit and relax. Only about a 10 minute drive from downtown Hot Springs and far enough out of town for peace and quiet. Also, complimentary crackers, cheese, and wine combined with the whirlpool tub in the room makes for a very romantic evening.
