“Nice hotel, good value”

My only issue with the hotel was the wifi, when we first arrived we couldn't axcess the wifi, when we returned from our night out we were able to axcess it, but it was very slow.

“Won't be staying here again.”

We stayed here last year, and they were working on it, so we thought it would be done this year,not so. The rooms down from ours looked to be finished and you would think we would have been given one of those since we had made a reservation. Our room was pretty shabby on the outside and the inside had been repainted but there were drips of paint on the floor, on the carpet, even on the toilet. In the bathroom, part of the ceiling was coming down. The mattresses on the beds sloped and the wooden frame on one of the beds was too long. My husband and I both stumped on toes on it more than once. The second time my husband did,we were afraid that he had broken his toe.This was kind of dangerous especially for an older person who might stay there. One of the reasons we had booked this hotel was because it had listed a continenal breakfast. Of course, they didn't have that due to all the construction, we would have booked another hotel if we had known. So-no coffee naturally. Also, the man at the desk wasn't friendly at all. There were other things but this is enough to let you know we will look for another hotel next year, This is the first bad review I have ever left of a hotel, they have always been pretty nice,,guess it was bound to happen.

“Find another hotel in Hot Springs”

Internet did not work in many rooms. Despite having laundry bags in the room, they refused to take laundry.

“Quality Inn and Suites - Hot Springs, AR”

There was mold growing on ceiling, a broken bed spindle, mold on shower curtain, corners of floor were dirty in the bathroom, toliet lid and been puttied for repair???, and cigarette burns on bedding and sheets. Breakfast was a waste of time and compared to other Quality Inn and Suites was well below standard. The hotel appears to be recently updated, but they did not finish it. Paint splatter across window and garbage and debris along parking walls.

“Not Happy”

The "suite" was a nice size room. Bed was comfortable enough. We had SERIOUS problems in getting hot water. We arrived Thurs night around 9:00 and reported the hot water was not working. We did not get any hot water until Saturday morning shortly before we checked out. We reported it a total of 3 times. Our room was not the only room that didn't have hot water. We were not happy. The desk manager tried to get us another room only to find out there was no hot water in our side of the building. We were not moved to another room and we were not compensated in any way.

“Do NOT stay at Hot Springs Econolodge”

On check-in, the heater didn't work. I was sent to a second room where the heater also did not work. I was sent to a third room and the heater worked but it was a non-smoking room - not what I reserved. There were no rooms which had heat and allowed smoking. I spent over half an hour walking from room to office and back and back and back. The bed frame was unfinished framing lumber. The TV reception was snowy. There were only 2 small, thin bath towels. The exterior needed paint and maintenance. The ice machine did not work. The soda machine did not work. The room, the furniture, and the fixtures were shabby and worn. If my arrival had not been so late at night, I would have demanded a refund and gone elsewhere. This entire complex needs major maintenance inside and outside. The night clerk was very embarassed, having been told by management that the rooms were ready to rent. He suggested that I demand a discount from the manager in the morning. In the morning, I had not no patience left to speak to a manager who so obviously does not care about property conditions or inconvenience. We will simply not book at Econolodge again and we will tell all of our many travelling friends to blacklist this dismal motel.

“Room was not cleaned and dust everywhere”

Table, end table, counter-top were full of dust, it seems was not cleaned for long time. Bed sheet was not changed either with stain and hairs. I had to check out the second day.

“Never stay at this hotel!!!”

Room was supposed to have a fridge and microwave, only had the microwave and a giant hole where the missing fridge should have been. Room had stains and cracks in the ceiling as well as the bathroom floor. There was something on the sink faucet that I was afraid to touch as it looked like some kind of bodily fluid that had molded itself onto it. Iron available, but no ironing board. Hair dryer was ripped off of the wall and also missing. Mattress (and I use that term loosely) was like sleeping on a Swedish rack, springs in my back all night, only got about an hour of sleep. Very noisy, paper thin walls. The only thing missing were bed bugs. Worst hotel experience I've ever had and I travel quite a bit.
