“Needs Renovation”
From the outside, the building looked like an intercity apartmentment in the Bronx. I have usually good luck with Travelodge, and was surprised to see this property so run down. The inside was not so bad, I would hope that some of the furniture in the room would be updated in the future, some pieces looked to date back to the late 70's.
“Average at best”
This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly enough but the price was a just a little high for just a bed to sleep in and a tub to wash yourself. It is close to downtown Hot Springs and all the shops and that makes it a convenient place to stay.
“Great deal in Hot Springs”
This is a good place to spend the night. Just the essentials, comfortable bed. Furnishings are very dated, but so what? You can waste money on a fancy room anywhere; save it to play with. This is Hot Springs; full of shops, restaurants, antiques, bath houses, mountains, horse racing, etc. Good central location to most everything. We stay here about 4 times a year.
“Basic old motel”
This is an old motel but basically clean. The TV remote did not have batteries and front desk did not have any. Had to go buy batteries so I could use the TV. Otherwise, just a basic old motel.
“not impressed”
hotel is ran down but you couldn't ask for better service
“good vallue”
We enjoyed our stay although there were a few things we would have liked - no microwave, no doughnut for breakfast. We could have had those things in a higher priced motel.... I was satisfied considering what we paid in a tourist town on a weekend when many places were "no vacancy.".
“Small dogs might be ok but check ahead of time!”
For the price, I can't complain too much. You get what you pay for. I just wanted to note that this hotel is on Expedia as a Pets Allowed hotel. However, the lady at the front desk said they do not allow pets. I told her our dog was small (16 pounds) and she said ok.
“Not great at all.”
Not bad if you're just needing a place to crash, but the room was bare (bed, tv, and desk chair) and half of the room had no power to the sockets (no lights and had to find a new place to plug the tv in). I think it was clean, but it was so run down that it was really hard to tell. When we checked in we discovered that we were booked in a room that was already occupied, luckily the people were outside the door, so we didn't walk in on anyone.
“Not what I was expecting after looking at the pictures before making the reservation”
Convenient location. HOwever, was run down and dirty, Service was terrible.
“Duth”
it was ok place for what we went for...have a Youth Conference and was not there but to sleep...the place was very dated (old) it was fairly clean, but was very queationable...I should have paid extra and got a better hotel.
