“Great location for a short break”

Myself and my husband visited this hotel for a long weekend in September ideal as it is only 10 mins from the airport. The staff throughout were professional and curteous. The hotel itself was well maintained and clean,the rooms bright & fresh with a large bathroom.The general roman theme is a little over the top, especially mingled with victorian lamposts, and an egyptian pyramid, complete with vegas style waterfalls. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool, with decent thick cushions. We only ate in the hotel once, the restaurants were a little too themed, the food we had only average. Did not have time to use the spa although other guests recommended.

I was very satisfied with the hotel and trip. The beach is very close. Nice pool. Very nice spa (gets booked!), lots around at your fingertips. I would stay here again. It is set up for tourists so service with a smile!

“Not exactly a 5 star hotel”

I visited the hotel in July 2006. It is in a fantastic location (right by the beach). Also access to the other hotels in the resort is a plus. However the room was quite small and the overall condition of the hotel is very dated. It is in need of redecoration. The bathroom was mouldy and the balcony was covered in bird poo. Female hotel staff were very unhelpful even bordering on rude at times. On the plus side the hotel is in very spacious grounds and has huge pool areas which are enjoyable if you are able to ignore the millions of cigarette butts stuffed under the drainage grills by the pool! Based on the room and the fact that the hotel is in desperate need of renovation i would rate this as a 3 star!
