“Had a wonderful stay”

I would recommend this Club Med for several reasons; flawless beaches and view of the Cancun coastline; wonderful sailing and snorkeling right at the resort; a grill, a restaurant, and the buffet that are available; very nice staff to attend every need. We went for a quick get away, our first time in Cancun. There are opportunities to stay busy or just sit at the beach or by the pool. Wonderful! We arrived at 11 am with our check-in being 3pm. We were offered a place to change and store our luggage, and we were able to enjoy the resort until our room was ready.

“Loved Cancun!”

Club Med was a great all-inclusive experience, with all the amenities a fun vacation has to offer. Great beaches, great beer, great experience all the way around. Lots of activities to keep you busy - you almost don't even have to leave the hotel and still you can have a great vacation. We did take advantage of the side trips, and scheduled those to Mercado 28 and Chichen Itza through Club Med's travel office, and we were not disappointed.

“Great Vacation!”

Just came back on May 14th. I wish I booked 2 weeks instead of one. We were treated wonderfully. Met people from all over and the staff went above my expectations. There was action all day and it takes some time to walk from one place to another but I found that a good thing because we enjoyed the food and the walking helped. The restaurants were very good and the presentation was great. The night clubs and shows were always hopping with contests and a foam party. On our last night we walked into the main restaurant to the applause of the staff which made us feel very special. And the staff is very patient at teaching you things that you have never done before such as sailing which I enjoyed very much. They also have beginner skiing lessons and trapeze lessons where the guest can become part of the show. Our bed was very hard and we had 2 twins in our room which they quickly put together to make a queen. The maid came in kind of late everyday (around 4). you really can be busy around the clock if you like but you can also escape to plenty of very private places. The resort is very big and takes 25 min. to get from beginning to end. So if you have a problem walking then this is not your place. I enjoyed it very much and would go back.

“Club Med reliability”

The hotel is really a mini village. Rooms are somewhat rustic but very clean and quite well maintained. Food was excellent from a choice and quality standpoint. Great included watersports like water skiing and windsurfing. Great entertainement (perfect for 18 years and up) and beautiful beach and lagoon, but very difficult to get a beach thatched umbrella as people 'reserve' them early on.

“cancun?????”

The resort's activities were incredible, the opportunity to waterski, do trapeze and go sailing offer amenities not often seen. BUT, it was evident that the resort was a FRENCH-based one, all the staff and activities cater to French atmosphere as opposed to a Mexican one. If it were not for the excursions OFF the resort, my wife and I would have believed that we were in the French Riviera. In addition, nightly entertainment was far from 'traditional' Latin festivities, two nights featured Mariachi's/Folkloric dances and one night of Salsa. One perk was the private location of the resort, there were no 'intruders', even the snorkeling was private. On all excursions, ClubMed was the first resort to be dropped off (however do not buy the excursions with ClubMed, will cost you 30% more, on the down side the other tours will NOT drop you back off at the lobby, you will have to walk about a mile to your room from the front entrance after a day of sightseeing.) The Hashbrowns at breakfast were delicious, the food was great. You are about 15-20 minutes from the Coveted 'Live Strip' of Cancun, but take the BUS it costs only a dollar for two people. (But the BUS won't travel to ClubMed since it is so far away, you may have to walk over two hotels for bus service). My trip to Cancun was awesome, next time though, my wife and myself will definitely be staying with another hotel that captures the Mexican culture in all aspects.

“Club Med-Cancun... Can I please get a drink?!”

Clean rooms, great food(for all-inclusive). Service staff was horrible. I've been in the food & beverage industry for 19 years... I was treated to the worst service of my entire life on a daily basis every day for 10 days! Cancun was fabulous! I'll stay down the road next time.

“Disappointed”

Over charged on the massage service and got the response "oh well". The female supervisor was very rude about the situation. They had us water sking out in the lagoon where 2 crocdiles are living (unknown to us at the time). When it rained the entire resort smelled like sewage. We were on the 3rd floor and the rain came through the bottom of the door making the room soaked.
