“Malia's Best Hotel !!!!”

This hotel is gives top quality at bargain prices. My boyfriend and I have stayed here for two years on the run because we liked it that much! It is a very clean hotel, with a lively bar and friendly staff. It's right at the top of Beach Road so it's quite a walk to the beach (about 1km) but its ideally situated for the bars and clubs. This is the only hotel I would recommend!!

“ok for the young”

I went on holiday with a group of friends. the Hotels location was really good. It was right at the top of the strip, so you could just walk down to the beach. the rooms are a ok size. The only thing wrong with the room was the bathroom it was small and no shower curtine so when u had a shower the water went everywhere. other than that the hotel was cool. The breakfast was chesse, rolls and boild eggs etc, not a full english. the staff are ok. Didn't really talk to them much. the bar man is funny. The pool was clean, the cleaners came round everyday, but in the morning so you can imagine how that went. The hotel was full of young people, but we didn't mind cause our group ranged from 19-21. We had a wicked time and would go back.

“Lovely and cosy”

This hotel was in a great location close to all the bars/clubs, but not so close that it was noisy, and it wasn't too far from the beach either... breakfast was quite basic, but that was expected from the price... the swimming pool was lovely, we spent many hours by the pool soaking in the sun on the many deckchairs available. The hotel staff were very friendly and we had no complaints about the room.

“Staff are great”

This is a small family run hotel. It is run by locals who all live in the malia area. It is right at the top of the malia strip and can be a bit noisy at night. However if you close the back doors in the rooms the sound is almost completely blocked out. All the staff were very nice and extremely friendly. The only problem we encountered was some of the other guests. Speaking to the staff they have put up with a lot from rowdy groups and are considering whether to accept 18 - 30 holiday makers next year. All rooms are very well decorated and they have closed the hotel at the end of this season to completely refurbish them all. Not a lot of parking so rent a bike/quad as they are the only things that you can park there, however be wary of the greek drivers. Would not suggest for a family with small children because of the location. The pool is quite deep and is very well looked after. No lifeguard though. Poolside bar is good and they do a variety of home grown drinks and exotic cocktails. Close to malia church and a taxi rank so the whole island is on you doorstep. Would also suggest going to the excursion places on the strip. The horseriding is great fun and very relaxing/romantic if you go on the night one. Great holiday, loads of memories. Loved it.

“Great pool! close to clubs, staff were sometimes rude...not a hotel atmosphere more like school camp”

had a great time by the pool:) the rooms were steaming hot and stunk like mothballs! you have to rent everything eg: a fan, a/c ect.. is the perfect place for under thirties who want to party!! although you are not allowed any guests to the hotel they have to pay 30 euro. overall it was really fun:)

“just like a hostel”

This hotel was very similar to a hostel. Very very noisy and rowdy at night. A highlight is that it has a great pool with well-priced pool-side bar food, however it was so hot in the rooms and at night that sleeping became a rare commodity! If you want to have a fan/fridge or air-con in your room be prepared to pay ridiculous extra prices for them! At times the staff were very friendly, other times exceptionally rude. We (as 3 girls staying in one room) did not feel safe to sleep with our balcony door open as someone climbed onto our balcony in the middle of the night from another room....very scary! In summary, great if you're 18, with a group of mates and looking to party. A mecca for the english.
