“Good hotel to know in Calais”

Location wasn't the easiest to find but perfect for an overnight stay to or from England. I would definitely go back.

We use this hotel as a first and last night stopover when travelling on the train, really is a great place for this, staff are always friendly, all speak english and despite its location to the road is very quiet.

A car park filled with locally registered cars at lunchtime was clear evidence that there was good value to had in the restaurant.

a good hotel to overnight near to the tunnel ahead of or en route home from the more distant parts of france a great little campanile restaurant allows you to relax over a meal before retiring to bed for a good nights sleep the interconnecting rooms were greta for us and our 4YO twins

“A nice little hotel”

We've been here before and have never been the least dissatisfied. The staff are friendly and will speak in French or English. The food is good (and plentiful!) It's only a few minutes' drive from the Tunnel or the ferry port. They kindly gave us exactly the room we asked for as my wife is disabled and needed the ground floor.

If you are looking for somewhere clean & comfortable to stay for one night when in Calais and don't want to pay too much...this hotel is perfect. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Extremely good value for money. The staff are very helpful and polite. Very conveniently situated for the tunnel and access to motorways.

Second stay here - very friendly, very clean, excellent value. Very good for Tunnel access, supermarkets, not so good for the town restaurants if you want wine with your dinner so can't drive, but the restaurant is quite acceptable. Taxis easily accessible.

We caught a late night care train from the Eurotunnel and we were at this motel in 5 minutes from departing the train. We were very impressed by the cleanliness and easy access to this hotel. Perfect for 1 night before you discover the rest of france. We will stay at Cottage Hotel again on our next trip over.

“Good location for an overnight stay”

We stayed here overnight as part of a weekend trip to pick up some wines, food etc. The hotel is ideally located and is only a short drive from Eurotunnel, Cite Europe and the Auchan hypermarket. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the rooms are basic but clean and have English TV channels if you want them. We've stayed here several times in the past and would do so again without hesitation.
