“A wonderful surprise”

We originally booked this hotel simply because it was near to both the harbor landing for our ferry from Venice and the Hertz office for renting a car to tour the Dalmatian Coast. We walked into the spacious lobby and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful desk service. We checked into a very clean room overlooking the harbor. The hotel rate included dinner and breakfast and we were impressed with the variety and quality of the buffet at all meals, along with the friendliness of all the staff. We found Porec to be a very charming town with well preserved old buildings and a waterfront promenade around the peninsula. It was a very relaxing stay and recommend it to anyone who plans to visit the Istrian Peninsula of Croatia.

“It couldn't be better”

An immaculate hotel in the centre of the town. Fantastic food at breakfast and dinner. The water taxi takes you to an island for quiet, isolated sunbathing, just find your rock and lay on it!

“A very enjoyable stay - will return”

This hotel has a great location in the old town with superb views of the harbour. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The buffet dinners were much better than expected - before arrival we had intended to eat out most evenings but we then decided to stay in and enjoy the extensive buffet. Most of the clientele are older people so it was a nice child free environment. A very pleasant stay.

“great location but some drawbacks”

Hotel is well placed on harbour side of delightful town. It has large numbers of elderly tour group clients. Buffet food was very good. Room pretty cramped and beware if booking sea-view room- it can be very noisy and as there is no air-condititioning you may not be able to close the windows. Room we had was right over bar-terrace and 'diesel' type fumes could be smelled every so often.

“Too noisy!”

If you are a heavy sleeper and don't mind extreme heat and humidity during Croatia's summer nights, then this is place for you. Otherwise, I would advise to steer clear of this hotel. Although its perfectly situated in the centre of the town, the noise and heat was too much to bear (the hotel rooms have no air conditioning). Due to this we had to cut our stay and move to another hotel. Despite this, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I would only recommend this hotel if you plan on partying till the early hours of the morning. Not suitable for families and those looking for a relaxing stay.
