“cheap and clean”

It's cheap, clean and basic comfort. Service could be better, when I checked out was a little harder to find someone since the office was closed

“Not impressed but you get your moneys's worth”

The hotel is very basic and kind of gloomy, however for what you are paying is good. The location is perfect as you can walk ti the walled city and feel very safe. We had a car and the hotel had a parking lot which saved us at least 25EUR per night. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were very clean. The bathroom was of good size. All in all we were very comfortable for the night we were there.

“No Key in Sight”

The hotel has no reseption. You have phone an Italian gentleman to findout were to get the key for access to the resident/lodging hotel. You can choose any of the open rooms. The key to you room is in the door. Although, very close to the old town. Ok if you consider the price per room/person.

“OK as a basic hotel but do not take a family”

There was no one there when we arrived and it took a long time to sort out the room following a phone call from a call box and a long wait in the street with two kids and all our bags. The room was clean, basic and not what we'd booked. The hotel is clean and safe but don't expect much if any service and I wouldn't recommend it for a family. It was pretty noisy too.
