“Very reasonable hotel”

I stayed at this hotel from Dec 3-7 2008. Pro: the rooms are very nice; the hotel seems to be quite new and clean; the staff are all very friendly; free internet use in the business centre 24/7; excellent marina restaurants very nearby. Con: there are cement trucks going up and down a steep hill a few hundred yards from the hotel 8am-6pm Mon-Fri, which means you hear their engines groaning going up the hill & their engine brakes (jake brakes) groaning going down the hill; quality of food in the restaurant for dinners was not good; the pool is no more than 3 feet deep; this hotel is at the very end of town and is miles from the malecon. Overall a very good choice so long as you're away from the hotel during the day, and don't mind walking to the marina restaurants. The traveller from Loreto is right: don't expect poolside service. This seems to be more of a business-person's hotel.

“Great”

New, Nice, clean, FREE wireless internet, great restaurant-bar where by the way you can work with a great view and eat well, and neat shopping center in walking distance. 10 minutes away from downtown and maybe 30min walking, but its a nice area and they are building many new attractions close by. Pillows are not comfortable, but beds are good. Wouldnt be able to tell you about the hotels beach, business trip, I didnt see it. Only the marine...which was pretty it surrounds the hotel.

“Fabulous safe place to stay in Mexico”

We chose Fiesta Inn becuase it was in the Costa Baja Marina area where friends of ours had their sailboat moored. We were pleasantly surprised by the accomadations, the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff. The rooms could use a microwave and small refrigerator, to make it a bit more accomodating, but you do have room service, etc. You can exchange US to Pesos at the lobby reception desk which makes it very convenient and safe. The Marina surrounding the Hotel offered Restaurants, "The Palapa Bar" which was absolutely wonderful!!, and Azul, were the best. The folks working there got to know us in the 8 days we stayed there, treated us very well and I'd definately go back. La Paz as a city offered shopping, a beach area along the Malacon, a beautiful Cathedral and Museums for sightseeing.

“Fit our needs”

Beautiful location, nice pool, nice rooms. Restaurant could have been a little more upscale as TVs were blasting during dinner - a soccer game was on and we preferred to have a more quiet atmosphere.

“Best Value in the World!”

This hotel is on one of the world's nicest beaches. Extremely quiet with a state of the art marina and fabulous restaurants. The service and staff are so nice, and the price is so low you won't believe it! La Paz is a hidden treasure..Jacque Coustauea called it "the world's aquarium"..and it is!

“Very nice hotel--highly recommended”

The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The front desk staff went out of their way to accomodate us on each of our many requests and inquiries. And the best part was there was NO TIME SHARE PITCH to endure!

“great place!”

We had a great time at the Fiesta Inn. The hotel rooms are very modern, the pool is great, and it has it's own marina filled with shops, bars, laundromat, small marine museum, convenience store, etc. There are several restaurants on-site, and we recommend the French place for good food at a good price. The palapa bar at the end of the bend is a great place to enjoy a margarita while the sun goes down and chat with the locals and sailors who are staying in the marina. There's also a miniature golf set up which is a good way to relax. The only suggestion is that they could keep the pool bar open on weekdays. We highly suggest the Fiesta Inn - mellow, clean, excellent service, and good times!
