“Good choice for the picky traveler!”

Great suites with all modern facilities. High speed internet in the suites, combined with all typical business services centrally located for the business traveler. TV in both "living room" and bedroom, stereo, DVD player etc. Modern kitchen, including dish washer for the weary traveler. The bathroom is a bit small, but the large combined kitchen/living room makes up for that. The location right next to Grand Central Station makes it easy to access all parts of the New York City area - and when tired there is a comfortable suite to relax in before going out for dinner or theater. There was a "glitch" in the service, which is the reason for the low rating in that category (btw, the hotel "compensated"!) - it's a brand new hotel, so the next traveler should expect that to be "cleared", making the overall rating of 5 the right one. All in all, in my opinion a perfect place for a couple or a family that wants to "live New York".

“Great option for those who want more space”

AKA United Nations is conveniently located in Turtle Bay, not too far from the subway and Midtown attractions. Hotel was quiet and the extra space is a luxury in NYC. Many nearby restaurants, groceries and drugstores on Second Avenue. If the living area had a sleeper sofa, the place could easily accomodate a couple with child, or two adults who don't share a bedroom. As is, it's primarily geared toward longer business stays or for those who desire the extra space - the balcony is another plus.

“Very nice property, a hidden gem!”

From the minute you walk into the door, you feel like you're at home. The reception person was very warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. The room has very nice amenities; Sony televisions and stereo, brushed stainless appliances, and hardwood floors. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-appointed with luxury soaps and lotions. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
