    “Will definitely return”

    Very clean and efficient hotel. Front desk staff multitask by being receptionists, serving behind the bar and helping in the kitchen. They also speak very good English. Although there is a restaurant, it is only used for serving breakfast. The breakfast however is 1st class. It's a shame that the restaurant is not open in the evening because you don't always want to go out, especially when the weather is bad. Saying that, there is room service available on a 24 hour basis for sandwiches etc. There is also a mini-bar in all rooms.

    “Great Berlin hotel”

    This hotel is just a minute away from the U-bahn station, but it is very quiet and in a good area. The ride into town is long, but the hotel is still convenient. The room was in a great condition and the hotel staff is helpful. Breakfast the next morning was one of the best parts of the stay.

    “Good place.. but very far”

    This hotel is an okay place, and it's very good for its price. It serve a breakfast buffet with a decent selection and has 24/7 receptions who are fluent in English. Too bad the heater didn't work during my stay All that said, this hotel is at the outskirt of Berlin. You need to take a 45-min train just to get into the city. But once you get off the train, you see the hotel right away. Still, it's quite inconvinient. If you don't mind the train ride, then it's certainly worth it.

    Berlin Schönefeld Airport (SXF): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 10 kilometres (6 miles).

    From the airport (Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF): Take the six minute walk to 'Flughafen Schönefeld' station. From there take the subway S 45 (in the direction of 'Gesundbrunnen') until 'Schöneweide' station. Change onto the M17 tram (in the direction of 'Falkenberg') and get off at 'Tierpark'underground station. Take underground line number 5 in the direction of ‘Hoenow’. After 30 minutes alight at ‘Berlin-Hoenow’station. Leave the underground station and go right. After 100 metres the hotel is located on the right-hand side.

    From the airport (Berlin-Tegel (TXL): Take the TXL bus to ‘Alexanderplatz’ and change onto underground line number 5 in the direction of ‘Hoenow’. After 30 minutes alight at ‘Berlin-Hoenow’station. Leave the underground station and go right. After 100 metres the hotel is located on the right-hand side.

    Driving directions: From the airport take the easterly Berlin Ring A10, motorway exit Berlin Marzahn (NR3) towards the city centre. Follow signs for HEP. On reaching the traffic lights at the Honow intersection, turn left into Mahlsdorfer Strasse. The hotel is about 200 metres down the road, integrated with the HEP shopping centre.

    From the motorway (Berlin ring A10 / motorway), take exit Berlin Marzahn, (Exit 3) towards the city centre. At the third set of traffic lights turn left in the direction of Hellersdorf, Marzahn, Berlin- Hönow. After 500 metres the hotel is located on the right-hand side.

    Berlin's integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get about. One ticket allows travel on all underground and over ground trains, trams, buses and ferries.
