“new management trying hard”
several problems that the new management did their best to sort quickly.the hotel is in need of some tlc to get it back to a 4 star rating but the new managers seem to be trying.we never heard any noise from the building work and they were finished by a reasonable hour.it is only a short walk to the baht bus routes or there is a taxi service outside the hotel. the reception staff are in need of training and need uniforms but the boss said they were on order....overall the hotel is reasonably priced but requires some work from the new managers which they seem to want to do to make this hotel work as it should.so give it a try and any problems let the managers know and they will do there utmost to sort a.s.a.p
“Quiet, friendly hotel on side street”
Hotel is located on north end of Pattaya, close enough to the action, but far enough away for peace and quiet. 5 minute walk from the beach (which is 80 steps down) and 5 minute walk from the dolphin circle, which marks the north end of Pattaya. Rooms are nice, but no ocean view and no windows (at least mine didn't, except for the door opening out to the pool). Pleasant surprise is the Indian cook Biju who is excellent and serves up authentic Indian food as spicy as you can handle it. Staff is very pleasant and friendly though somewhat English challenged. Weekend was full of local Thai families, which gave it a homely feel. Would recommend it for people who want a quiet, upscale hotel.
“Good if you want the quite side of pattaya”
Room very clean and well furnished, Staff very friendly, english ok, very good/clean pool and staff. Hotel at the north end of pattaya, a few minutes walk to the beach. This is best end of pattaya if you want to be away from the "go-go" bars, but a not too far on the many baht busses.
“Nice hotel, shame about the place”
The hotel was nice and peaceful and set back from the seedy part of Pattaya. Personally, I wouldn't recommend Pattaya for a place to stay in Thailand - very dirty and seedy.
“Great, spacious hotel”
Wonderfully clean and spacious rooms. Great pool with an outdoor terrace restaurant/bar. It's a little bit of a walk to the main road, but the hotel offers a shuttle (4 or 5 times a day) to Big C. Only negatives are that the people at reception are a bit English challenged and doors are thin (could hear people out in the hallway). Overall a great hotel--very satisfied with my stay and would book again.
“So So Hotel!”
Good points: Overall Appearance and Design: Quite modern and clean. Cleaning: Good frequency of changing towels and cleaned up room daily. Staff: Most quite friendly. Location: Was good. At one end of the road was bars, resturants and shops, the other end was the beach. 5-10 mins away is Pattaya beach front, bars, resturants and malls. Problems: Check In: Didnt accept Expedia paperwork and threatened that we might have to pay for our room again. By the next day, we heard nothing more about it and we assumed everything was ok. However, nothing was said regarding this again and an apology would have been nice. Tip: Make sure you have you Expedia paperwork woth you as proof of payment for this hotel. Pest Issues: encountered 2 forms of pest; Ants in the bathroom all around the sink and on the 5th day, a Mouse at 5am. We told reception about this the next day (the same lady who we dealt with at check-in) and she didn't seem bothered and did nothing. Water: Did not always supply the 2 complimentry bottles of water everyday to rooms. Connecting door and thin walls: easy to hear the people in the next room and see their light shining from underneath the door. And being a light sleeper, i didn't appreciate this. Non black out curtains: As soon as the sun comes up, light shines throughout the whole room like there is no curtain up and even my partner was annoyed by this. Black out drapes are definitely needed. So there's the real deal so you can now make your mind up.
“Would go back!”
Positive points. The hotel is clean , with great security and is located away from the madness of walking street but equally only a 10 minute taxi ride away. The breakfast was excellent , really good food , lots of diverse dishes and the waiting staff are really friendly and welcoming, they really do a great job. The swimming pool was always nice and clean and you will notice how hard the cleaning staff work at this hotel. Having stayed in Thailand before I was impressed by the majority of staff and their attitude. The room , pool executive, was clean and okay but I have stayed in superior rooms for less in Thailand. Negative points. If you are thinking of bringing a ' guest ' back , the night desk will demand 2000 baht , so as a result you don't bring back ' guests' ! Maybe not a bad thing , if you are on Honeymoon or with your family ! Really the only negative thing about the stay was the mosquito bites and the management really need to install mosquito screens. I would recommend this hotel for Honeymooners , couples and families. Like all hotels you can find faults but this hotel is safe, clean and staffed by hardworking , freindly people and I would have no hesitation to stay their again.
“4/10”
Arrived at 4pm and the room was not ready. cut my foot by the pool and unfortunately a very small spot of blood was on the bed sheed and they tried to charge me 2000 Baht ! But it was relaxing there. I thought someone was in my room but the shower room is open at the top to the next room which I was nopt impressed with
“WC”
This hotel so old and dirty so much please prepare go on
“avoid this hotel at all times”
this is a good hotel for any person to avoid, this is not equipped to be a rated 4 star, also i am puzzled why expedia had recommended this hotel. we usually value expedia recomendations so this is bad reflection on expedia.
