“Absolutely Revolting”

The first jacuzzi cottage I was put in- I sat on the bed and the headboard fell on me which hurt. The headboard was nailed to the wall with 2 nails-the legs did not reach the floor. It just hung there suspended. It was not attached to the bed. When we were leaving my boyfriend went back to check for my gloves and the headboard was back up the same way. The taps all leaked. I was told that there are wood burning fireplaces and though there are you can not burn wood in them. There were no chemical logs in the room we checked into, we had to request them. The room was stained and had scratched furniture that you might find in a very run down hotel. We were moved to another room In the next room light bulbs were missing, light switches didn't work, towels were frayed, and the carpet and the couch were full of stains We decided to make the best of it and went to use the facilities which were part of the reason we chose this spot. The hot tub/whirlpool didn't work, the sauna was body temperature at best, (possibly due to the fact that you have to ask the desk to turn on the sauna and sauna's take a while to heat up-(a ridiculous policy in my opinion), the pool was freezing and everything looked filthy. They seem to cut corners everywhere and anywhere possible as a result my guest experience was very unpleasant.

“Not Impressed”

This hotel is not worth the money which was paid for. Mosquitoes and bugs are every where inside and outside the room. We have got the one room cottage backing up to a the forest and you can expect all kinds of animals especially the raccoons which were eating our food. The A/C is very weak needs 200Hrs to start. The Jacuzzi was at the door, you have to pay extra money to change the bed sheets. also one tiny pool was opened only to serve all the guests. This will be my last time .
