“Louisville Hotel”

It may not seem like it, but it is in a great location. There is the "strip" across the highway, down the road a few blocks. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel within minutes! If you drive down the road just past the highway there are tons of places of interst to suit anybody's needs. Its a historical district with pubs, shops, restaurants, coffee shops & a HUGE pie shop (be sure to sample some of their confections)! Also, there are 2 malls within a few minutes of the hotel. One elegant mall & one regular mall across the street from eachother. The staff was very helpful with directions & provided great suggestions of what to do in the area.

“Would not stay here again.”

I was traveling alone, placed on the backside of the hotel where there was nothing but a mudhole. That did not make me feel very safe. The soap dish and towel holder had been torn out of the shower and the drywall was uncovered where they once were. The room also smelled making me question its cleanliness. Otherwise the lady who did my check in was exceptionally nice. (The lady next to her who was checking in other guests was quite rude so I felt fortunate not to be in her line.)

“Will not stay at this Hotel ever again”

I recently stayed at this Hotel and was not impressed at all. The pictures they posted in the search makes it look a lot better than it really was. The front desk people were friendly enough, but that did not make up for the lack of cleanliness. The room I stayed in was not the worst that I have seen, but it sure was not even close to being the best. There was dried up toothpaste in the sinks, stains on the countertops-desk-and bed side tables. The tub obviously had not been cleaned before I checked in; there was dirt on the bottom of the tub and a few hairs on the edge of the tub. There was also bottle caps on the floor so I am sure they did not even vacuum. I would have asked for another room but I figured they would all be the same, so I ended up going to a store and buying cleaner and cleaned it myself. And, they have a sign posted that once you pay for a room they will not give any refunds. Also, they claim to have a Complimentary Continental Breakfast, well I was there 3 days and they did not serve it once, I was told it was because the owner whom is also the person that runs the breakfast was out of town so they were not serving it. As for the Complimentary High Speed Wireless, the only way I would get a signal was to sit with the room door open and my laptop partially outside, which was not too convenient seeing that it was only about 30 degrees out at the time.

The wallpaper was peeling from the walls. There were holes in the walls. It looked like someone had thrown up on the one available wall outlet. The hotel is rated as two-stars, in my definition it only qualifies as 1/2 star hotel.
