    California Castle is a vacation rental with 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Rates are based on 15 guests, though it can accommodate up to 26. Stepping through the doors is like stepping into medieval times; the castle offers winding stone corridors, suits of armor standing sentinel, The castle has three kitchens and a round table that seats 12, warmed by a stone fireplace that meets the high ceiling. Walls are bedecked with torches and wood paneling as well as swords, shields, and tapestries.

    The bedrooms, however, are modern, lushly decorated with warm, rich colors. One of the 10 bedrooms has four bunk beds; the rest have queen and king beds with plush bedspreads. Many of the bedrooms include chairs as well.
