“Absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would certainly stay here again!!!!!!”

You always take a chance when you book a hotel sight unseen. When we arrived the first thing you notice is that it is an older hotel, but when you get inside it is VERY WELL maintained. It has a pleasing appearance and is very comfortable. The breakfast that is supplied with the room was absolutely fabulous! Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools were wonderful and they were clean and well maintained. The only thing I could say that I wasnt completely satisfied with was the water temperature in the shower, it would go from hot to cold, BUT, I have stayed in many hotels and even up to the 5 star hotels have this same problem.

“Best place to stay near both malls and great places to eat!”

Great place to stay! We were celabrating our 12 anniversary and wanted to be close enough to malls and beach and this was perfect! Clean rooms,huge lobby with tiki bar and free breakfast.You just can't beat it for the price we paid.I recomend the inside rooms but take a small fan to drown out any noises from outside the rooms cause ac is central and does'nt make constant noise,we take our fan everywhere so we were fine.Slept great,breakfast was good and pools are nice! We will be going back here to stay.

Nice and clean hotel. It's a 2 star hotel so don't expect the Palace Hotel but overall it was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and always willing to help us with everything. When we made our trip the outside pool was closed but I'm sure that, in the summer, it will be a nice thing. Furthermore they were building also an indoor pool for the guests.

“Great place, but I'd get an outside room next time”

The Ramada North Charleston is a great place to stay. The staff is very helpful, the room was clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only problem I had was the room was damp, presumably because of the indoor pool. I had my curling iron plugged in at the vanity and was standing there in my bare feet. The wire drooped down onto the carpet and when my toe touched it, I was zapped. Not a pleasant feeling. Next time I go, I'll request an outside room, hoping it won't be as damp as the inside rooms. Complementary breakfast was served daily and was very good. Scrambled eggs, sausages, ready to make waffle mix with two waffle irons so there's no wait, lots of differerent cold cereals, bread, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, etc. The coffee was delicious! Complimentary wireless internet is available in the rooms and connecting was very easy. A definite plus in my eyes. I would definitely stay here again.

“They are working on it”

The room that we stayed in was very outdated. It was not that is was really dirty, but it was in need of serious maintenance. The blow dryer was broke and many of the tiles in the bathroom with cracked. Also the ceiling was stucko and it looked like it was starting to fall apart. The staff and breakfast were noth really nice, but our room definately was not. They did tell us while we were there that they are in the process of renovating, so hopefully it will improve soon.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel staff was very pleasant. The room was clean but was outdated. The sheets and blanket barely covered both sides of the bed. The bed wasn't comfortable and neither were the pillows. If I had realized that there was a Walmart close by, I would have gone and bought more pillows to sleep on. The breakfast was great. We had scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, waffles and biscuits. They also had muffins, cereal and fruit for anyone wanting a light breakfast.

“Won't stay at that one again.”

Basically, we got a good price but that was because it was not refundable or could not be changed, which we didn't know until we had paid for it. The hotel was old, but clean. The TV was old and the remote did not work in our room or in our friend's room. The breakfast was poor because the scrambled eggs were not good and tasted like instant eggs. Also the apples all had bad spots on them. For a special trip to Charleston we will check around for other motels, even if we have to pay a little more. We weren't very comfortable there and worried about the cleanliness of it.

“Uncomfortable and disgusting. Unable to spend the entire night there.”

As soon as you stepped into the room the stench knocked you back. When I took my shoes off, the carpet felt greasy. I noticed that my childrens feet had turned black within 10 minutes of being there. Bedding smelled horrible. Pillows were paper thin, as were the walls. Were unable to sleep due to being able to hear every word our neighbors were saying. Checked out of hotel at 3 am. Unable to sleep the entire night there.
