the hotel is right next to the main shopping and sightseeing also plenty of restaurants and bars close by.

“Good to stay a few nights.”

Not too bad and not too good. Simply furniture. Air condition wasn't working. But good price adequately to quality. Too much noise outside of hotel in the street at night. Poor breakfast. Cleanliness excellent.

This hotel is useful for the fact that it is located very near the local town. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It has a lovely cocktail bar opposite, which serves wonderful pizza. There are a few restaurants nearby, they seem to be dotted around in cantania! It is also nearby the local bus and train stations if you are planning on visiting other towns or going on an excursion. I would recommend it as it is extremly cheap and you get what you paid for. Although it is probably wise to only stay in Cantania for a week or ten days, two weeks is a bit long.

Good points: Extremely central, free internet in lounge, helpful staff. Bad points: rather run down hotel, crying out for renovation, hot water not always available, poor quality towels, near starvation breakfast, not cheap for what you get

“Use Only as Last Resort”

The front desk people were very helpful, but even they couldn't help the lack of comfort in this hotel. The hotel is in an old building and once inside you definitely can feel how old the building is. I probably wouldn't have thought much of it except that the partner hotel accross the way was pretty nice.

“Not a 3 star hotel”

I do not recommend this hotel to any traveller.I arrived 2nd May 2008.The single room I was put in was dirty.The bathroom was dirty and in need of repair.There was a big crack in the sink,the shower and tiles were dirty and mouldy,there was no hot water(when I showered on the evening and the following morning),the towels had dirty and unexplained marks on them.The room did not have complimentry internet service,the TV did not work and the room was very basic.The room was very basic and not to a 3 star standard.The hotel was more like a 2 star.The room that I was put in was very noisy due to the busy street below.The staff are not very helpful or friendly other than the hotel manager who was excellent after explaining my problems.He recommended and booked me into another hotel which was far superior.I only stayed in the hotel one night but was due to stay for 7 nights but I moved to a different hotel due to the shabby and dirty conditions of the hotel.I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.The pictures that are shown are not acurate and the hotel is in need of some 'tender loving care'.
