“Cant wait to go back”

“Not really that far from beaches.”

Picked this hotel due to cost and relative convenience of reaching both Chincoteague town and its great beach and access to Ocean City beaches and entertainment.

“Not impressed............”

Toilet didn't work right, had to keep the top off the tank to fix the float. And for some strange reason, there was a tissue stuck in a hole in the ceiling of our room.....told the front desk, they said 'sorry'. Pool was nice.

“Close to Chincoteague”

This is a pretty standard Day's Inn. I chose it because it was close to the beach and at a good price for the area and season. We went to Assateague National Seashore, about half an hour away. We missed breakfast the first day, they close promptly at 9:00. We made it the second day. Cereals, donuts, bagels, english muffins, with juice, etc. It was o.k., but as usual, not enough eating space. Mostly needed more chairs, as several tables didn't have any when families borrowed to sit together. That makes you feel rushed to make room for others. Other than the ice machines broken or almost empty and taking a shower in the morning resulting in little more than a dribble, it was satisfactory for our purpose.

“Comfy bed....not super clean...terrible service!”

My room was not the cleanest...but it was one of the cheapest hotels we could find! The sheets seemed clean. The male workers were not very friendly. I came in to the lobby and the family was all gathered around and just looked at me like I interupted them. The young man got up and asked what I needed and I said clean sheets cause we had been there a week without a sheet change. He was very rude like he couldnt wait to get rid of me. The older man got up and said something in a different language and told me to follow him. He was practically jogging to the clean linen room. On the way there was a woman trying to get into her room and the key wouldnt work and he grabbed it out of her hands and did it for her. She tried to ask what she was doing wrong and he just waived her away. He threw my sheets at me and jogged back to the office. How RUDE the help is. Although, the young girl at the front desk was nice!

ok for a cheap motel, dead cockroach in light over mirrror did not endear us to the place.

This hotel is not somewhere to stay for a week, it's just a room to sleep in for the night.

“Cheap around ocean city area”

Hotel exterior is badly maintained. Water is very bad with lot of iron content. Service was ok. Breakfast had just cheap donuts and corn flakes.

“thumbs down”

the sheets had blood stains on them. the floor had not been vacuumed, the bathroom had to be scrubbed by US - no toilet paper. Covers were ragged - the whole place is outdated - needs repair and upgrade. The so-called continental breakfast: no coffee made. No cups out - had to go to front desk to get cups and ask them to make coffee. No sour cream, etc. bagels were gone - someone else went to front desk to ask for bagels, toast, milk for cereal. Disappointing. Probably pick another chain - Holiday Inn Express.

“Dirty”

The hotel was fairly priced we thought, but it turned out to be too much for what we got. The rooms were sick and uncleaned, smelling of smoke and funk. We slept in our sleeping bags as we were sure the beds were not cleaned. Not recommended.
