“Great hotel!”
I love how the hotel is decorated! The staff was extremely nice and brought things up to our room in good timing. The rooms are kind of small, but my friend and I really enjoyed it! We would stay again,

I took 2 children to New York. The hotel was clean, staff was terrific and the location was wonderful. We felt very safe in the hotel and with the location. I would definately recommend!
“Great little Hotel”
Pros: Quaint hotel. Love the lobby bar and how the huge window overlooks the street. WiFi in the lobby bar. Great value. Front desk and bellmen were helpful and friendly. Bathroom was always clean. Subway 20 feet from the hotel entrance. Cons: Lobby is on the second floor. So if you have a lot of luggage and there is no bellman to help you it sucks having to carry your luggage up the stairs to check in. Could not adjust the heat in the room. It was very hot, but we cracked a window and then it was fine.
“well worth the money”
the hotel is wel located next to the subway line 1 at 103rd street, only ten minute ride from times square and a ten minute walk from central park. the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful in organising our transfers back to JFK.
“Just right for a night of rest”
This hotel is not elegant (although quaint) and the room is small and unpretentious, but for people who plan to be out all day doing the sites of NY and only want a good place to lay their weary heads down for the night, it is perfect. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The location is great and the neighborhood very pleasant and resourceful. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Lot's of friendly young foreign travelers stay hear which makes for interesting conversation. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Manhattan and not over spend on lodging. Subway and good restaurants are near-by.
“Great place to stay - I will stay again”
Marrakech Hotel is a small boutique place in upper west side. The benefits are: clean, sheets changed daily, great location, right on the subway, plenty of restaurants, Starbucks downstairs. One of the best value hotels in NYC. It has no amenities but it is designed tastefully, and it was a delight to stay. I would stay there again.
“WHAT A DEAL!”
WE WENT OVER THE 4TH OF JULY THIS WAS THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO STAY BY $150! I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THIS HOTEL FOR ONLY BEING 2 STARS. EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN. SUBWAY RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET, STARBUCKS RIGHT BELOW, AND A GREAT MEXICAN PLACE 1 BLOCK DOWN. I WILL GO BACK HERE FOR SURE. JUST BE CAREFUL OF THE STEEP STEPS AND NARROW HALLWAYS, BUT IT'S NEW YORK SO THAT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY.

Günstig gelegenes Hotel (die Suway ist ca. 10 Meter vom Hotel entfernt). Freundliches Personal und saubere Zimmer.
“Unbeatable price, great location”
The Marrekech was the perfect place to stay! We paid for exactly what we got-a decent, clean place to sleep while enjoying NYC. Hotels that offer all the super amenities (breakfast, pools etc) are for people that are interested in the hotel, not the city. The room was cleaned everyday, including fresh towels, and Jason (one of the porters) was so helpful in bringing our bags up. Its located just yards away from the subway and the neighborhood had plenty of diners and eateries. I definately recommend the hotel!
