“Great choice with lots of attention to detail”

The hotel was very clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. Lots of nice extras like cosy bathrobes, safe, iron, minifridge (I took the contents out to make room for our own drinks etc.). My Dad's room on the 3rd floor was bigger with a proper desk and little couch, but our room on the 4th floor had more light. It was small, but still plenty big enough with a large closet and vanity. The shower was very clean and roomy with great water pressure. The sink in the room is handy. We didn't have a view of the bay, but we couldn't complain when we got such a good deal on Expedia. The food downstairs at Perry's is delicious and the servers very friendly and helpful. Just breakfast should include the coffee and juice, which is weird since there is free coffee in the lobby (that tastes better than the coffee in the room). It's a nice touch that they offer strong and mild coffee. Parking is expensive and I tried to find something else nearby, but we ended up using the valet parking which ended up being a nice little luxury. Julio and the evening guy are very helpful and it was great to pull up in front of the door after a long day of touring around and not have to worry about the car. Two of the ladies at the desk are very friendly and helpful, (I forgot to ask their names). We were there for 6 nights and would definitely stay there again!

“Impressed with Hotel.”

Excelent hotel. I've stayed at nearby hotels and so far this is the best one. It's about 2 blocks from the BART, so getting to the hotel from the airport is a snap. However, the price swing can make it difficult to want to make this hotel the place to stay at everytime.

“Nice quaint hotel in good location”

I would say this is a very quaint little high end hotel. I enjoyed my stay in the nicely appointed room. The only issue I had was that the room seemed a bit small to me. It could be b/c this is San Fran and everything is small and cramped, but the room did feel small with the king size bed in it. It was however very nicely decorated and everything felt new and comfortable. I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in SF.

“Little San Fran Gem”

We loved this hotel! We just needed a nice place as home base for our first trip to San Fran. This place has the best location, the sweetest room- small but met all our needs, and the staff was most helpful. Loved this place!

“Kaboom”

Allthough the room was small, it was very nice, mini-bar prices were very reasonable. Did not spend alot of time in the room, due to activities. At checkout the Hotel held our bags and we were able to see the sights and sounds of San Fracisco without having to take to car out of the garage and pay fpr maore parking as the hotel is kind of expensive.

“A place to stay”

Over all very satisfied with hotel. Hotel staff were all very friendly, courteous, helpful. Room was very clean and had a warm ambience. Room was a bit small but would be perfect for one or two people. Location was great being right near Embarcadero, which made it easy to visit the saturday market, go for a run on the running/bike path, or catch other means of transportation such as the electric cable cars or bart. I look forward to revisiting on my next trip.

The personnel at the hotel were great - helpful, hospitable, friendly. I would stay here again. Room may have been a little small for some people.

“What a view”

I recently stayed at the hotel and have nothing but good to say. The staff was great- I felt welcomed and my needs were taken care of promptly. I was fortunate to have been able to book a room with the bay view and this made it all worthwhile. The view was awesome. I will stay here again!
